Are you one of the growing number of UK counsellors working as an Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) affiliate practitioner in the UK?

If so, I would be really interested in hearing about your experiences of this type of work as part of my Masters degree research project exploring UK counsellors’ experiences of providing workplace counselling as an Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) vendor affiliate practitioner.

If you would like to be involved, I am looking for UK counsellors who:

  • Are registered members of a professional body that maintains a professional standards accredited register (for example, ÌÇÐĹÙÍø, NCPS or UKCP),
  • Have worked with at least one client that has self-referred for counselling support, and at least one client referred by an EAP,
  • Are willing to take part in an interview of approximately one hour (either remotely or in person in Lincoln) to talk about their experiences of working as an EAP affiliate

Please note that if you decide to take part you will not be required/asked to name any specific EAP vendors/providers as part of this research and you will not be identified as a participant. Please also note this research is an independent study to satisfy the requirements of a Master’s qualification and is not affiliated with any professional body
