How can wearable data improve the way we talk about anxiety disorders in the therapy room? MEMoPAD is a research project designed to bridge the gap between physiological monitoring and the therapeutic conversation.
We are developing a tool that provides structured emotion insights, based on physiological data collected via wearables in parallel with self-reported information, to help clients self-reflect, break anxiety loops, and provide clinicians with more structured data points during sessions.
We are currently in Phase VI of our co-design journey, which is the most ambitious one yet. This phase involves testing the prototype with people facing anxiety disorders for a few weeks. We are seeking the clinical perspectives of therapists and counsellors on the format of the outputs resulting from this testing period. Your feedback is essential to ensure that this technology is ethical, non-intrusive and useful in a counselling setting.
Who can participate: Any mental health clinicians (e.g. counselor or psychotherapist) with experience supporting clients with anxiety disorders.
Appreciation: You will receive a £15 voucher for a 20-minute online interview as a token of thanks for your time.
