About me and my therapy practice

About me

Hi I'm Fiona-Jane, an experienced and professionally qualified  registered psychotherapist (UKCP, MÌÇÐĹÙÍø) based in Battersea, London, offering weekly one-to-one therapy sessions for adults.

I'm trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist and can work with a wide range of issues.  I also have a particular interest and additional experience in supporting adults with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Past Childhood concerns
  • Current Relationship struggles
  • Traumatic Bereavement and Loss —this may include the loss of a baby, child, family member, friend, colleague, or pet, and situations such as miscarriage, termination, homicide, or suicide.
  • Complex Trauma

Why Therapy Now?

Whilst the facts of the past cannot be changed your story may become updated in therapy, and help un-addressed difficulties feel more manageable. Consequently, therapy can be a catalyst for growth and healing.

How I Can Help

I provide an ethical, inclusive, collaborative, and supportive space where you can speak about whatever feels difficult. Together, we’ll explore at your pace what’s concerning you, helping you make sense of your feelings and experiences.

My first session

First Session Consultation

Initial consultations are conducted in person rather than by phone, to allow the time and care needed to understand your situation from the outset and begin developing a sense of working together.

In the first session, I will ask about what brings you to therapy, your circumstances, and any previous therapy experiences. We will also discuss how we might work together, practical matters such as fees and session attendance, and any questions you may have.

I will let you know if I feel I may be of service, recognising that some people might benefit from other types of support. If I feel I can offer sessions, I will respect your decision about whether you would like to work with me.
