About me and my therapy practice

Whether due to troubling experiences from the past or difficult issues in the present, we may experience stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or just a general sense of being unfulfilled. These issues can affect all aspects of our lives. The goal of counselling/psychotherapy, therefore, is to lead a healthier more fulfilling life by becoming more aware of what holds us back and avoiding the things that throw us off balance.

You will be supported in resolving your troubling issues in order to manage your life for the better.

I offer an initial free online session in which you can meet me and see how I work, and how I am able to help you, and to ask any questions you may have.

I am a psychotherapist/counsellor with 15 years of experience, awarded a Master's degree in Counselling/psychotherapy by Goldsmiths University, accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø) and trained to work with a range of emotional difficulties including, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, childhood trauma, recent trauma, sexual abuse, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ issues, bereavement, relationship and work-related issues, and personality disorders.  I also work with couples.

Counselling/psychotherapy services are £45 online and £55 in-person at Cheltenham Therapy Rooms.

Couple's therapy £50 online and £65 in-person.

Please note, I'm in the process of updating my website domain to Cheltenham

My first session

I offer a free first session/consultation (online) that lasts 40 minutes. Continued sessions, whether online or face-to-face, last 50 minutes, which is usually called the counselling hour.

The first session is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and for me to understand what is troubling you, what you want to achieve from therapy, and how best to support you.

There is no obligation to continue.

Free: I offer a free initial telephone session so we can discuss how I work, and ensure I am the right fit for your needs. Please get in touch today to book your initial consultation.

My first session

Your Free Initial Consultation: What to Expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, which is why I offer an initial free online session. This is a relaxed, informal 20- to 30-minute telephone consultation designed to provide an introduction to one another without any financial or therapeutic commitment.

During this initial online meeting, we will:

Explore Your Goals: Discuss what brings you to therapy at this moment and what you hope to achieve or change.

Review Your History: Lightly look at any previous experiences with counselling and outline the specific difficulties you are facing (e.g., anxiety, relationship issues, or trauma).

Discuss My Approach: I will explain how I work as an integrative psychotherapist and how my 15 years of experience can best support your specific needs.

Answer Your Questions: You can ask me anything about the therapeutic process, confidentiality, or practicalities.

What Happens Next? There is absolutely no pressure to book further sessions during this first meeting. I encourage you to take some time after our call to decide if I feel like the right fit for you.

If you choose to move forward, our subsequent standard sessions can be held online (£45 for individuals / £50 for couples) or in-person at Cheltenham Therapy Rooms (£55 for individuals / £65 for couples). For couples, our first full session will involve a structured assessment of your relationship history and shared dynamic.

To book your free initial online consultation, please send me a message through the directory contact form, and I will respond with my availability.
