Availability

I am currently flexible with my working hours and have availability for new clients. In addition to weekday daytime sessions, I offer weekend and evening appointments upon request.

I typically respond to enquiries within 1–2 working days, and I aim to schedule initial appointments promptly. Any planned leave or temporary adjustments to my availability will be communicated in advance to clients.

About me and my therapy practice

I hold a Bachelor of Medicine degree with Honours from China and a Master of Science in Psychotherapeutic Counseling with Distinction in the UK. With over 30 years in healthcare, I’ve practiced in China, the UK, and Dubai, supporting both adults and children. I offer therapy in English and Mandarin Chinese. I work collaboratively with empathy and a gentle approach, guiding clients to reflect, understand patterns, and foster personal growth.

Practice description

In my practice, clients can expect a supportive, non-judgemental environment where we focus on your unique needs. I combine my medical and psychotherapeutic background to address a wide range of challenges—from anxiety and stress to life transitions. I’ve worked  with general hospital , MIND and in private settings, maintaining a deep commitment to client care. Sessions are collaborative, whether we’re exploring patterns, building coping strategies, or fostering long-term growth. You can expect honesty, kindness, and dedication as we work toward your goals.

My first session

In the initial session, I focus on understanding your key concerns and goals. Before we meet, I’ll ask you to complete a brief intake or assessment form so we can use our time effectively. I offer a discounted rate for this first session, as it’s a chance for us to explore whether we’re a good fit. During the session, we’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, any relevant background, and potential ways forward. You’ll also have time to ask questions. By the end, we’ll have a clearer sense of next steps and how we can proceed.
