I have availability on Friday afternoons or by arrangement. 

I am an experienced counsellor with extensive experience in working with both adults and teenagers on a range of presenting concerns - please do see my website (davidcurlcounselling.com) and youtube channel for further information.

I've also been working 'in private practice' with both teenagers and adults since 2018. In the last five years, I've worked as a team manager for a leading UK-wide digital mental health service, for a 24/7 mental health helpline, and in two secondary schools.

I have been a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø) since 2004. 

This means that I have completed a recoginsed counselling training programme over the course of a number of years, and also that I work within the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø’s Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.  

First sessions are offered at a lower fee of £30; subsequent sessions are £60, with a limited number of concessionary places if you are currently on benefits or a low income.

A first session - offered with no obligation or expectation that you must then book further sessions - offers you the chance to begin to speak about and get some perspective on the concerns that have brought you to counselling. No obligation is implied - I can answer any questions you might have about counselling and this will help you reach a decision about whether booking further sessions would be helpful for you.
