About me and my therapy practice
Hello and thank you for looking at my profile. I am a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø accredited therapist with over 25 years experience. I offer a warm, safe, compassionate and tranquil counselling room which helps to create the right environment in which we can work together.
Counselling and therapy
There may be a number of reasons that you are considering counselling. Life experiences impact us in different ways; we are all unique and my approach reflects this. My approach is to work together to find strategies that work for you with difficult past and current life events such as grief, trauma, loss or burnout. This may include feelings of anxiety or depression. Together we can understand the cause and explore ways to manage this.
My experience of working therapeutically over many years allows me to offer you a variety of techniques and approaches. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect and the belief in your capacity to heal and find meaning, even in the most difficult times. I am interested, compassionate and believe that by working together, we can create a space that allows you to explore whatever it is that you are finding painful or difficult. This allows you to gain insight into the areas of your life that you may want to alter or develop, and the strategies to navigate the future.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly and be heard without judgement, so you don't have to face the challenges of life on your own. If you feel ready, I warmly invite you to get in touch and take the first step towards support.
