About me and my therapy practice
Online only — grounded in personal experience — compassionate approach.
After years of living with crippling anxiety, therapy helped me reclaim my life. This lived experience sits at the heart of my work. I’m passionate about supporting people to overcome whatever is present for them, helping them understand themselves more fully and move forward with renewed confidence.
I have experience in childhood developmental trauma, narcissistic and toxic relationships, family addiction, anxiety, nervous system regulation, as well as major life transitions such as motherhood, divorce, bereavement, chronic illness, and spiritual awakening.
For me, it’s less about the specific issue and more about how we work together. I believe it’s possible to integrate even the most difficult experiences, allowing you to live with greater freedom and ease.
On a personal level, I live in the Welsh countryside surrounded by nature and animals. Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dogs, spending time with my cats, cooking, and gardening. I’m also deeply interested in spirituality and the wider questions of life.
Practice description
I believe you already hold the answers within you. My role is to help you reconnect with your inner voice so you can find your own way forward.
My approach is integrative, drawing on psychotherapy techniques including CBT, psychodynamic, and humanistic approaches. I also have a keen interest in mindfulness and holistic methods such as yoga, somatic work, and nature-based connection.
My focus is on understanding how you became who you are and what may be holding you back. We’ll explore your past to see what shaped you, while staying present to notice the patterns that keep you stuck. Together, we’ll work toward breaking free so you can move forward.
Healing isn’t about becoming someone different, it’s about remembering who you are beneath the survival patterns.
My first session
Before beginning therapy, I offer a free 15-minute phone call to explore what you’re seeking from therapy and whether we feel like a good fit. This is a mutual and respectful process, and I may occasionally suggest another therapist if I feel that would better support your needs.
If we decide to continue, sessions are held online only, lasting 50 minutes, either weekly or fortnightly.
In the first session, we’ll gently explore your current circumstances, your hopes for therapy, and what feels most important for you right now. There is no formal assessment unless clinically appropriate, and everything moves at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Once payment is received, I’ll send a secure video link and guide you through what to expect.
