About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in working with neurodiverse Adults (ADHD, autism, dyslexia) who experience heightened emotional responses, including Rejection Sensitivity (RSD). My approach is warm, collaborative and affirming, helping clients understand their emotional patterns without shame or self鈥慶riticism.
I support people who often feel 鈥渢oo sensitive,鈥 overwhelmed by small comments, or anxious about how they鈥檙e perceived. Together, we explore what鈥檚 happening in the nervous system, build emotional regulation skills, and develop practical strategies for feeling more grounded, confident and understood.
My work is integrative, combining counselling, coaching and CBT鈥慽nformed tools to help clients make sense of their experiences and move towards lasting change.
Practice description
Many neurodiverse people experience strong emotional reactions to everyday social cues; a short message, a shift in tone, or being left on 鈥渞ead鈥 can feel unexpectedly intense. This is often linked to Rejection Sensitivity (RSD), where the nervous system interprets small moments as signs of rejection or criticism.
In my practice, I help clients understand these responses and reduce their impact. We explore the emotional cycle of overwhelm, shame, rumination and withdrawal, and work on skills that support regulation, resilience and clearer interpretation of social situations.
Sessions may include:
Understanding emotional patterns and triggers
Developing regulation tools to calm the nervous system
Challenging unhelpful interpretations
Exploring the impact of ADHD, autism or anxiety on emotional processing
Strengthening self鈥憌orth and confidence
My aim is to create a space where neurodiverse clients feel accepted, supported and able to work at their best 鈥 without masking or self鈥慶riticism.

What to Expect in Our Sessions
Our first session is a gentle starting point, a space to explore what鈥檚 brought you to counselling. It might be a single concern or a collection of challenges that have built up over time. Together, we鈥檒l begin to shape a clear understanding of your difficulties and consider how we can work through them collaboratively.
We may start with practical, evidence-based strategies to ease day-to-day anxiety and help you feel more grounded. When you feel ready, we鈥檒l begin exploring deeper layers and past experiences that may still be shaping your present. Through this process, we鈥檒l make sense of what鈥檚 been holding you back, so you can gradually release the pain and fear that may have felt overwhelming or immobilising.

About me and my therapy practice
All of us face difficulties in life from time to time, but this may be more acute now than ever before. You may be feeling sad, angry, depressed, anxious or overwhelmed when you think about what you are dealing with currently or have gone through previously. In these times, some people seek counselling or coaching to find a way through difficult times, develop coping strategies, and get the most out of life.
I can offer you time and a safe space to think and talk. I will hear you, not judge you, and offer you empathy and support.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Couples Counselling & Coaching
Relationships can be challenging, and when one or both partners are neurodivergent, misunderstandings can feel even more pronounced. Neurodiversity-affirming couples counselling and coaching offers a supportive, non-judgemental space to explore communication differences, emotional needs, and relationship patterns without trying to 鈥渇ix鈥 or change who you are.
I work with couples where one or both partners are autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, or identify as neurodivergent. Sessions focus on building mutual understanding, improving communication, and reducing conflict by recognising different ways of thinking, processing, and expressing emotions.
Together, we explore:
鈥 Communication styles and how to reduce misunderstandings
鈥 Emotional regulation and managing overwhelm
鈥 Differences in needs around space, routine, and connection
鈥 Building empathy, trust, and emotional safety
鈥 Practical strategies that support both partners
My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and paced to suit each couple. The aim is not to mask differences, but to help couples work with neurodiversity, creating a relationship that feels balanced, respectful, and sustainable for both partners.
Whether you are seeking to improve communication, reconnect emotionally, or navigate life changes, neurodiversity-affirming couples work can help you build a healthier, more understanding relationship.

There are many reasons why people seek Counselling or coaching. All of us face difficulties in life from time to time, but this may be more acute now than ever before. You may be feeling sad, angry, depressed, anxious or overwhelmed when you think about what you are dealing with currently or have gone through previously. In these times, some people seek counselling or Therapeutic Coaching to find a way through difficult times, develop coping strategies, and get the most out of life.

I will help you understand different aspects of your life, your own behaviour, and the issues that are preventing you from enjoying life.
We can explore both general and specific problems. I have extensive experience working with.
Anxiety, Depression, Loss, Relationships/ Family Issues, Loneliness, Self-confidence, Self-Esteem, Stress, Loss of identity, Long-term life changes, disabilities
My core training is in integrative humanistic Counselling & Coaching, which means I use techniques from several types of therapy that I think are most suitable for individual clients. I鈥檒l be focusing a lot on how you see yourself, how you relate to the world, and how I can support you in becoming more comfortable with yourself and the world around you.
Therapy can seem daunting, and it can be weird sitting in a room with someone independent, talking about your thoughts and feelings. It may be a completely new experience for you. You may find that you share more than you expected, which is a good thing. You don鈥檛 need to keep trying to do it all by yourself; we can overcome this together.
I believe that everybody can grow and move forward, although there are times in our lives when we need some assistance and guidance.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, explore what鈥檚 been weighing on you, and begin to understand yourself with greater clarity and compassion. My approach is integrative and humanistic, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic models and tailor each session to your needs, pace, and goals. You are never expected to fit into a rigid method; the work adapts to you.
People come to me for many reasons: anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, identity questions, grief, trauma, or simply feeling stuck. I also specialise in neurodiversity, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and late diagnosis support. Many clients come wanting to understand why life has felt harder than it 鈥渟hould,鈥 why emotions feel intense, or why patterns keep repeating. Together, we explore these experiences gently and without judgment.
My role is to help you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and support you in developing practical strategies to feel more grounded and confident. I pay close attention to how you relate to yourself and others, the beliefs you鈥檝e carried, and the experiences that may still be shaping your present.
I work collaboratively; you set the direction, and I walk alongside you. Some sessions focus on understanding the past; others focus on coping in the present or planning for the future. We might explore emotional regulation, boundaries, self-esteem, identity, or the impact of neurodivergent traits such as rejection sensitivity, overwhelm, or masking.
Above all, I offer a space where you can be fully yourself. You don鈥檛 have to hold everything together or have the 鈥渞ight words.鈥 You show up as you are, and we work from there. I aim to help you feel more at ease in your life, more connected to yourself, and more able to move forward with confidence.
Practice description
With many years of experience as a therapist, I offer a calm, steady and supportive space for people who are used to coping alone or keeping their feelings private. My approach is warm, curious and respectful, creating a place where you can speak freely and explore what鈥檚 happening beneath the surface.
My work focuses on helping you understand the patterns, emotions and protective strategies that may be shaping your life. Together, we explore what feels overwhelming, what feels stuck and what feels possible. When helpful, I bring in practical tools for grounding, emotional regulation, anxiety management and navigating relationships, alongside deeper reflective work.
I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse clients, including those with ADHD, autism and dyslexia. This often involves working with time blindness, sensory needs, burnout or Rejection Sensitivity (RSD). We look at how your nervous system responds to stress, how past experiences influence current reactions and how to build steadier, more compassionate ways of relating to yourself and others.
Sessions may involve talking through recent experiences, exploring past events or noticing repeating patterns. We might look at how you relate to others, how you speak to yourself and how you can create conditions that support your wellbeing and strengths.
My aim is not to 鈥渇ix鈥 you, but to help you understand yourself more deeply and create meaningful, sustainable change. Therapy offers a place to breathe, to feel and to grow, at your own pace, in your own way.
My first session
Your first session is a gentle and supportive starting point. It鈥檚 a space where you can begin to talk about what has brought you to counselling, whether it鈥檚 a specific concern, a period of overwhelm, or a collection of experiences that have built up over time. You don鈥檛 need to prepare anything or know exactly where to begin; we will take things at your pace.
We鈥檒l start by exploring what life has been like for you recently and what you鈥檙e hoping to gain from therapy. Some people share a lot straight away; others take time to feel comfortable. Both are completely okay. My role is to listen with warmth and curiosity, help you feel at ease, and begin building a clear picture of what you鈥檙e experiencing.
Together, we鈥檒l look at the challenges you鈥檙e facing and consider how we can work through them collaboratively. If you鈥檙e feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck, we may begin with practical, evidence鈥慴ased strategies to help you feel more grounded day鈥憈o鈥慸ay. These tools can offer immediate relief and create a sense of stability as we continue the deeper work.
When you feel ready, we may explore the underlying patterns, past experiences, or emotional responses that could still be influencing your present. This might include understanding why certain situations feel triggering, why emotions sometimes feel intense, or why familiar cycles keep repeating. For neurodivergent clients, we may also explore areas such as rejection sensitivity, masking, burnout, identity, or the impact of a late diagnosis.
The first session is not about fixing everything at once. It鈥檚 about beginning a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, understood, and supported. Over time, our work can help you make sense of what has been holding you back, ease emotional overwhelm, and move towards greater confidence, clarity, and self鈥慶onnection.
