About me and my therapy practice

I’m a counselling psychotherapist offering therapy for adults across the UK. I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

My work is relational and collaborative. I aim to support you in understanding what’s affecting you, making sense of patterns and change in your life, and finding ways to move forward that feel manageable and meaningful.

People often come to me when they’re feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck in situations that feel difficult to navigate. Together, we explore what matters to you and what may help you regain balance and clarity.

For clients who would like to explore their faith or spirituality as part of therapy, I am able to integrate this into our work in a way that feels respectful and meaningful to you. This might include reflecting on beliefs, values, or the role of faith in your life. There is no expectation to take this approach, and I work with people of all backgrounds.

Practice description

I work with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, low mood, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and feeling stuck or uncertain about the future.

My counselling practice provides a safe and supportive space to explore these issues, gain insight, and develop strategies to manage emotions and improve wellbeing. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, allowing you to work at your own pace in a confidential, professional, and compassionate environment.

I also offer faith-sensitive counselling for those who wish to explore spiritual or Christian perspectives as part of their therapeutic process.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy and to begin understanding your current experiences. We focus on what matters most to you, looking at your thoughts, feelings, and life circumstances in a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space.

There is no formal assessment unless it is useful for your situation. For clients who are experiencing anxiety or low mood, I may ask you to complete a brief questionnaire. These help us understand your symptoms and track progress, but they are just one part of our conversation.

The session is collaborative and at your pace and I would encourage you to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. By the end, we can discuss the goals you want to work towards and how future sessions might support you in moving forward.
