I am currently taking on new clients. I work Monday to Thursday, day time to late afternoon. All sessions are online from the comfort of your own home.
About me and my therapy practice
I work with clients to understand what changes need to happen to help them feel calmer and more in control. Change is inevitable but how we respond to it depends on how well we know ourselves, our capacity to cope, what triggers us and how to take care and prioritise our needs through difficult times.
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years' experience working with clients through BUPA, the NHS and in private practice. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of problems which affect us in everyday life. I use skills from several types of therapy including person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and TA as well as integrating coaching and solution-focused thinking to help with clarity and focus.
My knowledge and skills cover a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship and family issues, work related issues including stress and work-life balance.
I have a special interest in working with women in mid-life transition from early peri-menopause through to post-menopause and am studying health coaching in this area of work.
Practice description
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and tailored to you. I draw on counselling and coaching approaches to support both emotional healing and practical change.
Some clients come wanting space to explore their feelings in depth; others want help moving forward and finding a way through. We can work in the way that feels most helpful for you.
We start with an assessment session and then plan a way forward together. For some clients this means meeting every week to have a place to talk and gain clarity. For others they may want more of a proactive approach, spacing sessions further out so they can work on taking action and trying out changes to their routines and lifestyle habits.
My first session
We begin with an assessment session to discuss what's been going on and how it is affecting you.
From there we agree on some goals for our work together, what you would like to be different by the end of our sessions. We decide what approach would work for you - how to balance our focus between a therapy space and a more proactive coaching approach to support your whole person wellbeing.
What I can help with
Anxiety, Bereavement, Coach Therapist, Depression, Life coaching, Loss, Menopause, Personal development, Self esteem, Stress, Women's issues, Work related issues
Types of therapy
Brief therapy, CBT, Integrative, Person centred, Solution focused brief therapy

I work Monday - Thursday up to 3pm. All sessions on online via Zoom.
We would try to find a regular time once a month to meet for 1.5hrs (or 1hr if you are supplementing other supervision).
About me and my therapy practice
Good supervision is at the heart of keeping us safe and sane as therapists. It is where you balance the needs of your clients with your own well-being as a practitioner and the need to grow and develop in your career.
I work with qualified therapists from a wide range of modalities and I have special interest in supporting therapists working in private practice and those looking to become ÌÇÐĹÙÍø accredited. I offer a blended supervision approach which can include all of these elements alongside clinical work.
I have worked in my own practice since first qualifying in 2005 and am passionate about helping therapists develop in their career and move forward embracing new opportunities to find work and grow.
As a therapist with over 20 years clinical experience, my own therapy model is integrative, combining core models of person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic theory. I also draw on elements of many other therapies including TA, solution-focused, IFS, attachment, relational and motivational. I also work as a health coach specialising in women's health and menopause.
I currently supervise a range of therapists from different backgrounds working in a variety of contexts so if you are interested in finding out if we could work well together, please don't hesitate to make contact, I would welcome an initial conversation.
