Availability
I currently offer sessions Tuesday鈥揊riday during the daytime, with some additional availability on Tuesday and Wednesday in the late afternoons and early evenings.
I understand that life can feel full and unpredictable, so I aim to work flexibly where possible. If you鈥檙e unsure whether your schedule fits, you鈥檙e very welcome to get in touch and we can see what might work.
Sessions are available both online and in-person in Lichfield city centre.
If you鈥檙e new to therapy or feeling a bit unsure, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so you can get a feel for how I work before committing to anything.
If I鈥檓 away or taking time off, I鈥檒l update this here - but I鈥檒l always aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hours where possible.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, untangle what鈥檚 going on, and begin to make sense of things in your own way.
My approach is person-centred, which means I won鈥檛 analyse you, diagnose you, or tell you what you should be doing. Instead, we work together to understand your thoughts, feelings, and patterns at a deeper level - at your pace.
Many of the women I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their heads, or unsure of themselves. They often have a sense that something isn鈥檛 quite right, but can鈥檛 fully explain why. Therapy becomes a space to explore that without pressure to have the 鈥渞ight鈥 answers.
Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I help you build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself. This often leads to greater clarity, self-trust, and a feeling of being more grounded in who you are.
I may gently reflect patterns, ask thoughtful questions, and help you notice things you might not have seen before but the direction of the work always comes from you.
Practice description
I鈥檓 a qualified counsellor and registered member of the 糖心官网, with over 10 years鈥 experience working across a young people鈥檚 charity, higher education, and private practice.
I mainly work with women in their 20s and 30s who may be struggling with anxiety, overthinking, low mood, or a sense of feeling lost or disconnected from themselves. You might feel unsure of who you are, find it difficult to make decisions, or feel like you鈥檙e constantly second-guessing yourself.
I also support clients navigating life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity shifts, and the emotional impact of modern life - including the pressures of social media, work, and expectations around 鈥渉aving it all together.鈥
Alongside this, I have a particular interest in how hormones can affect mental health, including PMS, PMDD, and changes linked to motherhood. While I don鈥檛 diagnose, I can support you in understanding how these experiences may be impacting you emotionally.
Sessions are 60 minutes and available online or in-person in Lichfield.
I offer a standard rate of 拢60 per session, with a reduced rate of 拢45 for students, those on low income, or during maternity leave.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you鈥檝e never done it before or haven鈥檛 had a great experience in the past.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call before booking, so you can get a sense of me and ask any questions. There鈥檚 no pressure to continue if it doesn鈥檛 feel like the right fit.
In our first full session, we鈥檒l begin by gently exploring what鈥檚 brought you to therapy and what feels important for you to talk about. There鈥檚 no expectation to have everything figured out or to explain things perfectly - you can take your time.
I won鈥檛 ask you to complete formal assessments or come with anything prepared. This is your space, and we go at your pace.
Some people worry about 鈥済etting it right鈥 in therapy, but there isn鈥檛 a right or wrong way to do this. You might come with lots to say, or you might not know where to start - both are completely okay.
The first session is really about beginning to get to know each other and seeing how it feels to talk. From there, we can decide together how you鈥檇 like to move forward.
