About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced Individual and Couple Psychodynamic Counsellor & Psychotherapist and Psychosexual therapist. I trained at Tavistock Relationships, and I work as a visiting clinician. I also host my private clients at Finchley Central Practice.
I understand that it might be hard to seek help and share thoughts and feelings about personal matters, especially about intimate relationships and intimacy. Therefore, I offer my service in a confidential and containing space, and I value differences in terms of culture, gender and sexuality.
Besides, I offer online counselling in a safe and secure setting for both individuals and couples. This service can also be used for couples residing separately from each other, even abroad.
Feel free to contact me for a chat if you need more information.
Practice description
I am an experienced and qualified relationship psychotherapist and psychosexual therapist trained at Tavistock Relationships in London, an internationally recognised centre for the study and treatment of couple and sexual relationships.
Relationship difficulties can feel painful and confusing, particularly when communication breaks down or intimacy becomes a source of tension. People may find themselves repeating the same arguments, feeling emotionally distant, or struggling when the physical intimacy in their relationship has ended.
My insightful psychodynamic approach helps bring awareness of emotional patterns, past experiences, and relational dynamics that may influence present difficulties. To support all aspects of relationships, I undertook additional training as a psychosexual therapist, enabling me to address sexual concerns that affect intimacy.
Listing of issues that we can work on:
Relationship conflict
Rebuilding trust after an affair
Vaginismus, erectile or ejaculation difficulties, painful sex
Low sexual desire, difficulty achieving orgasm
Understanding sexuality and sexual orientation
Regaining sexual desire after childbirth
I have extensive experience working with adults of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I value inclusive practice, welcoming people from LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities.
I also speak Farsi and offer in-person sessions in Finchley Central, North London, as well as online therapy.
I worked as a visiting clinician at Tavistock Relationships and previously at the Psychosexual Clinic at St Mary’s Hospital. Before training as a psychotherapist, I studied Social Work at Inholland University in the Netherlands and have worked extensively supporting clients through organisations including Home-Start UK, Place2Be, Barnet Refugee Service and the NHS.

Practice description
Psychosexual therapy is a cognitive behavioural program that includes exercises. The duration of therapy depends on the issue and the severity of it.
Psychodynamic counselling and relationship counselling are offered for all challenges related to relationships.
Both services are open-ended, which means that the client can terminate the therapy when they wish to. However, a two-week notice is very much appreciated.
