About me and my therapy practice
I am a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-accredited therapist with over 39 years of experience supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
I work with issues including childhood trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), anxiety, depression, addiction, workplace trauma, and identity-related concerns.
My approach is warm, integrative, and grounded in supporting you to live more authentically. You can expect a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel heard and supported to understand yourself more deeply.
My practice is social-justice informed, recognising the impact of systemic and intergenerational trauma.
I also offer an online reflective writing group for women, using journalling, poetry, and storytelling to support healing, self-expression, and personal growth.
This is a space to reconnect with your voice, your truth, and your inner life.
From Wound to Wonder — helping human beings return to themselves.
Practice description
My approach is grounded in a deep commitment to self-transformation and to helping people return to themselves with greater clarity, compassion, and choice.
I offer a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space in which you can begin to make sense of your inner world and the patterns that may be shaping your life, relationships, and sense of self.
My work recognises that many of the difficulties we experience in adulthood can have roots in earlier experiences.
Together, we gently explore what has been carried, what has been endured, and what may now be ready to heal.
As therapy unfolds, I support you to develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and more life-affirming ways of being, loving, and coping.
My practice is social-justice informed, acknowledging the impact of systemic and intergenerational trauma, particularly for marginalised communities.
Alongside one-to-one therapy, I also offer reflective writing groups for women. These groups use journalling, poetry, and storytelling as therapeutic tools for healing, self-expression, and personal growth.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an author and accredited therapist with 39 years in practice. Since 1994 I have supervised therapists across theoretical modalities, workplace settings, universities and private practice, including those working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
As a supervisee, you’ll find a collaborative, equal relationship—practitioner to practitioner—where your practice can develop organically and authentically. I focus on growing your confidence, competence and clinical judgement, and I’ll signpost resources as needed to support your work.
My supervision is intuitive and works at relational depth. Sessions are psychologically safe, reflective and stretching—designed to be a transformative experience that supports ongoing learning, professional growth and clarity in your practice.
I work with trainees and qualified practitioners from a range of orientations, including counsellors and psychotherapists in the NHS, third sector, education and private settings. All sessions are delivered online or by telephone.
