About me and my therapy practice
I am a UKCP-accredited and ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-registered online psychotherapist, Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist and Approved Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) Practitioner. I originally trained in Transpersonal and Integrative Psychotherapy, spent many years working from Harley Street and Mayfair, London W1, and now work exclusively online via Zoom.
I work particularly well with highly driven professionals, entrepreneurs and people in demanding roles, including those in tech, finance, law, media and the arts. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, reflective and used to holding things together externally, while privately feeling tense, stuck, burnt out, emotionally shut down, or caught in patterns they understand clearly but cannot seem to change.
I work well with people for whom talking about personal matters feels difficult, including those who are more used to thinking, analysing, coping or enduring than feeling. I am not easily shocked and understand the importance of moving carefully and sensitively.
My work focuses on trauma, attachment, nervous-system patterns, relationship difficulties, pressure, perfectionism, anxiety, shame, burnout and emotional shutdown. I draw on Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, body-based trauma and attachment work, and integrative psychotherapy.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in fast-moving, high-pressure environments, including entrepreneurial, management, and live events work. This background often helps me understand the pressures faced by people working in demanding or high-performance fields.
My approach is kind, practical, down-to-earth and creative. The work is not simply about insight or advice, but about creating meaningful change in patterns that may be difficult to shift through thinking or effort alone.

Practice description
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place online via Zoom. I usually work weekly, as consistency helps create the safety, stability and momentum needed for deeper work.
My approach combines careful conversation with body-based awareness. Many people who come to see me have spent years thinking about their difficulties, yet still feel stuck. Often, there is a gap between what they understand intellectually and what happens emotionally, relationally or physically in the body.
Part of the work involves slowing things down enough to notice what is actually happening in the moment. This may include paying attention to subtle shifts in the body, exploring emotions as they arise, and making links between present-day reactions and earlier experience.
I draw primarily on Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, body-based trauma and attachment work, and integrative psychotherapy. These approaches pay attention to the nervous system and the ways protective responses can become organised in the body, emotions, relationships and behaviour.
The pace of therapy matters. We work collaboratively and carefully, paying close attention to what feels manageable. My role is not to push or overwhelm, but to help you gradually develop more capacity to stay with your experience, with greater clarity and choice.
Over time, clients often report feeling more grounded in themselves, with a clearer understanding of their emotional responses and more freedom in how they respond in relationships, work and stressful situations.
Therapy can offer a space to explore repeating patterns in depth and begin relating to yourself, other people and your life differently.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity to begin exploring what brings you to therapy and whether my way of working feels relevant. You do not need to arrive with everything clearly worked out.
We may talk about what is happening now, what has led you to seek help, and what you would like to understand or change. I will also ask some questions about your background, current circumstances and what feels important to you.
The first session is not about rushing into deep trauma work. It is a careful starting point. If we decide to work together, we would usually begin with six to eight weekly sessions and review as we go.
