About me and my therapy practice
Face-to-Face, Telephone and Online.
I offer 1:2:1 person-centred/solution focused counselling.
I am based in Formby and I am accredited with the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø and registered with BUPA.
Counselling provides a confidential space and time to talk, where you can begin to feel supported and gain the insight you need to help you to move forward.
I work with a variety of private (self-referrals) and professional referrals including the Police and NHS staff, Victim Support, BUPA and Employment Assistance Programmes.
I support clients with:
Anxiety, ADHD, work-related stress, career mentoring; managing life changes, trauma, loss, bereavements, addictions, family and relationship issues including divorce, health related issues, anxiety, menopause, pregnancy and miscarriage, which can all contribute to low moods, increased anxiety, poor sleep and loss of energy, focus and motivation. In addition to the above I am also Dementia trained and worked 2 years for Age UK as a Dementia Advisor.
I have BA (Hons) Degree in counselling, and my work experience includes working at Social Services for 10 years, Domestic Abuse and Palliative Care with my last role managing a busy counselling team providing emotional support to patients and their families with end of life and into bereavement.
I work now in private practice offering a safe space to explore and work through issues that may have become overwhelming to manage, at a pace that suits you.
I respond promptly to all enquiries and am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Parking available on Queens Road.
