Availability

I currently have availability within my practice and offer a range of appointment times to help make therapy more accessible. This includes early morning, daytime and evening sessions, with the option of meeting either in person or online.

Rather than listing fixed hours, I invite new clients to arrange a free 30-minute telephone consultation. This gives us the opportunity to talk through what has brought you to therapy, what you may be looking for, and whether working together feels like the right fit.

From there, we can agree a regular session time that works around your availability.

Please get in touch to arrange your free consultation, and we can take the first step from there.

About me and my therapy practice

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human connection. My role is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel truly heard, and begin to make sense of what’s happening in your life.

I work in a gentle, collaborative way, never pushing, never judging, but walking alongside you as we explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences together. Sometimes that means focusing on the challenges you’re facing right now, and sometimes it means looking at patterns from the past that still affect you today.

My approach is flexible and shaped by your needs. I draw on over 15 years of experience supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing. This allows me to adapt how we work so it feels relevant, meaningful and personal to you.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my down-to-earth style and that I help them feel comfortable quickly. My aim is always to help you find more clarity, strengthen your resilience, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

Practice description

My practice offers a welcoming and confidential space where you can bring whatever feels heavy, difficult or important in your life. Many of the people I work with come to therapy because they are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, stuck, or struggling in their relationships. Others may simply have a sense that things could be different, even if they are not yet sure how to put that into words.

Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly, although I can offer some flexibility where needed. I work both in person and online, so you can choose the setting that feels most comfortable and accessible for you.

Alongside my work as a psychotherapist, I also design and deliver mental health training, workplace wellbeing sessions and critical incident support. This gives me a broad perspective on emotional wellbeing, combining therapeutic understanding with practical tools and strategies that can be used in everyday life.

Clients often tell me they value this balance. They feel understood on a personal level, while also leaving sessions with greater clarity and practical ways to move forward.

Whether you want to explore your experiences more deeply, understand patterns in your life, gain a fresh perspective, or find more manageable ways of coping, my aim is to provide a space that is supportive, flexible and centred around you.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute telephone consultation as a first step. This gives you the opportunity to get a feel for me and how I work, and for us to think together about what you may be looking for from therapy.

The consultation is informal and there is no pressure to share anything you do not feel ready to talk about. It is simply a space for you to ask questions, talk a little about what has brought you to therapy, and consider whether I might be the right therapist for you.

Many people find this helpful because it can take away some of the uncertainty around starting therapy. We can talk through how sessions work, what to expect, and whether ongoing therapy feels like the right next step.

If you choose to continue, sessions are 50 minutes long and offered at my standard rate. There is no obligation to commit after the consultation. The decision is always yours.

Booking a consultation is simple: just get in touch and we can arrange a time that suits you.
