I am available on a Monday day-time and evening in Central Lewisham working face-to-face or remotely via zoom.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced integrative therapist working in Private Practice, with ten years experience in the NHS in a primary care setting.
I have a Masters Degree in Therapeutic Counselling and 15 years experience as a Counselling Tutor and Trainer.
Practice description
I describe my approach as relational/integrative/psychodynamic, this means that our relationship will be very important to the quality and process of therapy.
I aim to provide a safe and open space for you to explore your internal world. I do think that it can be important to pay attention to the unconscious influence of the past whilst keeping open to the various creative ways that healing and growth can happen.
My first session
I always suggest an introductory session.
This is important for me to gain a clear picture of what is bringing you into therapy.
It is also important for you, giving you an opportunity to meet me personally and to discover if I am the right therapist for you.
Together we would work out the best way forward.
Do feel free to to email me with any questions you may have.
What I can help with

I set aside the first Tuesday of the month for supervision sessions.
I offer hourly or hour and a half sessions.
If for some reason you are not able to make our regular agreed time there is flexibility to re-arrange.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative (Clarkson) trained therapist (qualified with a Masters in 2007) In the last seven years I have developed a special interest in ISTDP (Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy and AEDP ( Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy)work which is experiential therapy that pays close attention to how anxiety and defence mechanisms (harmful protective habits) block emotional experiencing. I have found this to be a highly effective way of working.
I have 15 years experience as a counselling trainer which has enabled to keep up-to-date with counselling theory and neuroscience breakthroughs and working along trainees in the supervision process.
Practice description
I have a number of supervisees currently but have space for one or two more. I am available for in person or online supervision sessions.
My first session
During the first session I would be of course interested in discovering your theoretical modality and way of working and which areas you are interested in developing in.
I suggest working together for three monthly supervisions as an introductory period before working in an open-ended way.
