About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Integrative Person-Centred Psychotherapist, offering a safe, and non-judgemental space where you can explore personal challenges, gain deeper self-understanding, and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

Over the past 14 years, I have supported people through a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, trauma, life transitions, and questions around identity and personal growth.

At the heart of my work is the belief that each person is unique and has the capacity for growth when provided with the right support and understanding. I aim to create a therapeutic relationship built on authenticity, compassion, curiosity, acceptance, and respect for diversity and individual experience.

Therapy is a collaborative journey. Together, we will explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you, helping you develop greater awareness of the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing. Through this process, you can begin to make sense of your experiences, discover new perspectives, and move towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

I am committed to providing gender-affirmative and inclusive therapeutic space for people of all gender identities and expressions. I welcome and support transgender, non-binary, gender-diverse, and questioning individuals, recognising that each person's experience of gender is unique. My approach is grounded in respect, curiosity, and acceptance, offering a space where you can explore your identity openly and authentically.

I also offer support to family members, and loved ones of gender diverse individuals. Family members may experience a range of emotions, questions, and challenges as they seek to understand and support someone they care about. Therapy can provide a compassionate space to explore these experiences, deepen understanding, strengthen relationships, and navigate change with confidence and empathy.

Practice description

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the therapeutic process. To help you decide whether I am the right fit for you, I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation. This provides an opportunity for us to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, for you to ask any questions you may have, and to get a sense of how I work.

There is no obligation to continue after the call, and I encourage you to choose a therapist with whom you feel comfortable, understood, and able to build a trusting therapeutic relationship.
