About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative counsellor working in Clapham, London and online, with a Humanistic approach at the heart of my practice. I work collaboratively with clients to navigate life鈥檚 challenges with empathy, curiosity, and support and offer practical mental health guidance that can be incorporated in daily life. 

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Sensorimotor Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused techniques, tailoring sessions to each individual鈥檚 needs and goals. I believe in seeing the person first and maintaining an open dialogue about what feels helpful in therapy.

I completed my Master鈥檚 degree in Mental Health Counselling in the United States in 2014 and have worked as a counsellor in London since 2016. I am also a parent and a trained yoga instructor.

Starting counselling can feel daunting, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported at your own pace. Practice description

My counselling practice is grounded in a warm, collaborative, and person-centred approach. I believe each person has the capacity for growth, self-understanding, and meaningful change when supported within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. In sessions, clients can expect empathy, curiosity, and a space where they feel heard without judgement.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to meet each client鈥檚 individual needs. Alongside Person-Centred Therapy, I incorporate elements of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which explores the connection between mind and body and helps clients tune into present-moment sensations to process trauma and build a greater sense of safety and resilience.

I also use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to explore patterns between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, helping clients identify triggers, challenge unhelpful patterns, and work towards meaningful goals. In addition, Solution-Focused Therapy informs my work by highlighting clients鈥 existing strengths, resources, and practical ways forward.

Above all, I tailor therapy to the individual, maintaining an open dialogue about what feels supportive and effective throughout the counselling process. 

I support a variety of individuals, but in particular I work most with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, big life transitions, and those who are new parents, expats, or living with ASD. 

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute audio or video call to explore whether we may be a good fit to work together.

The first session is an opportunity for you to share more about yourself, what has brought you to counselling, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we can then discuss the best way forward.
