About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in supporting individuals who feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who they truly are. You may find yourself wanting to move forward in life, yet something keeps holding you back – whether that is chronic procrastination, self-doubt, or a fear of getting it wrong.
You might struggle to trust yourself, question your decisions, or feel overwhelmed by the pressure to meet expectations – your own or others’. Over time, this can leave you feeling lost, lacking confidence, and disconnected from your authentic self.
Often, these patterns are not random. They can be rooted in earlier experiences – such as difficulty connecting, not getting the emotional support you needed as a child, traumatic experiences, or taking on adult responsibilities as a child – where you may have learned to prioritise others, doubt your needs, or hide parts of who you are in order to feel accepted or safe.
Practice description
In our work together, we gently explore these patterns and where they come from, helping you make sense of your experiences with greater clarity and self-compassion. As your understanding deepens, we begin to challenge these patterns, supporting you to rebuild trust in yourself, reconnect with who you are, and feel more confident in the choices you make.
Alongside this, I will introduce various grounding techniques to help regulate your nervous system and manage anxiety, allowing you to feel more present, steady, and in control as you navigate change.
My first session
The initial consultation session lasts for one hour. This provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions and to get a sense of whether we’re a good fit to work together. During this session, I will also gather background information and begin to understand your needs.
