About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm and creative ÌÇÐĹÙÍø accredited psychotherapist who offers 1:1 therapy to adults in distress or who are actively seeking change. I have experience of working with a wide range of presenting problems from relationship difficulties, health-related issues and loss to anxiety and depression, as well as neurodiversity in all its forms. I believe that being carefully listened to in a warm, supportive, respectful relationship can help us feel safe enough to reflect. I think that reflection can help us heal.
Practice description
I use an integrative, relational approach, mixed with some coaching and creative methods. I believe that being honest, non-judgmental and accepting creates a space where growth and change can take place and that drawing on a range of different theories can help fit my approach around you.
I aim to help you rest, repair, grow and change.
My first session
I offer a staggered start to our work together, beginning with a free 15-minute telephone call. If you want to move to the next stage, we will meet for 30 minutes so you can visit the space we are working in and see what it is like in the room with me. There is no charge for this initial meeting. After this, I charge £55 for each 50 minute session. We will spend one or two sessions looking at your history, completing a clinical measure and identifying your therapy goals. Finally, we will sign a therapy agreement and start our therapeutic work together.
