About me and my therapy practice

Feeling overwhelmed, stressed & crippled with anxiety? Fed up & frustrated with the fuzzy head, forgetfulness, feeling tired & wired & low mood,

Noticing your self-confidence has taken a nosedive, your self-esteem at rock bottom? A sense your identity, values & purpose have shifted.

Together, we can explore the impact of your fluctuating hormones on your thoughts, feelings, emotions & behaviours, your relationships, self-confidence, self-esteem, sense of identity, purpose & professional career life.

I will support you with a ‘toolkit’ of strategies to manage your menopause symptoms & cope with difficult feelings, emotions & anxieties, helping you to better navigate this time of psychological & physical change. And provide time & space too, to consider who you’d liked to be post your menopause.

I offer EMBERS® Menopause-Informed Psychological Care, a structured approach designed to support women experiencing the emotional and psychological challenges associated with perimenopause and menopause. The EMBERS® framework integrates evidence-based psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with insights from neuroscience and lifestyle medicine. This approach helps women understand the interaction between hormonal changes, brain health, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle factors, and life context. Through this approach, women develop practical strategies to regain a sense of control over their mind, body, and life during menopause and beyond. The EMBERS® approach was developed by Menopause CBT Clinic®. About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, meaning that I tailor my approach to suit couples' needs.

I am a couples' therapist

You may feel disconnected from your partner, stuck in recurring arguments or unsure how to rebuild trust and understanding. You might also feel resentment or hurt but can’t express it. Perhaps you’re noticing repeating cycles of criticism or withdrawal, or feel lonely when you’re together.

Differences in priorities, expectations or life pressures - from work, family or parenting - can leave both of you frustrated and exhausted. Sometimes you may find yourself questioning whether the relationship is meeting your emotional needs or wondering how to handle major life transitions together.

In couples counselling, I see my role as a facilitator and observer - almost like a videographer of your relationship. I pay close attention to how you communicate with one another, including body language, tone and the moments that often go unnoticed. I gently reflect these interactions back to you, helping you see your relationship from a new perspective.

My approach is relaxed, informal and encouraging - creating a space where you both feel comfortable being honest and open. Together, we work to reconnect, strengthen communication, and deepen understanding. Sometimes this leads to renewed closeness, and sometimes it brings clarity about how to move on. Whatever the outcome, you’ll feel more confident and supported in finding the healthiest path forward.

Each couples therapy session is 60 minutes long.

I offer daytime & early evening sessions. I don't work Friday evenings and weekends.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, meaning that I tailor my approach to suit individuals’ needs.

I help individuals facing a wide range of relationship challenges:

• Marriage and partnership difficulties

• Navigating separation or major transitions

• Communication breakdown and recurring conflict

• Complex dynamics with family members

Relationships - with a partner, in a marriage, or with a parent, sibling or friend - can leave you feeling frustrated, disconnected, or stuck in repeating patterns. You might also find yourself feeling isolated or alone in the relationship. Perhaps arguments keep resurfacing, communication feels strained, or you’re unsure how to rebuild trust and connection.

Relationship counselling and therapy gives you space to understand what’s really happening in your relationship while discovering ways to move forward with clarity. It can help you gain insight into the dynamics shaping your relationships, improve communication, and find healthier ways of relating to the people who matter most.

You may feel stuck in repeating patterns in a relationship, unsure why the same difficulties keep arising. Perhaps communication with your partner or family member feels strained, or conflict leaves you feeling unheard, criticised or emotionally distant.

You might be questioning the future of a relationship, struggling to express your needs or feeling drained by ongoing tension with your spouse, parent or sibling. This can leave you doubting your own reactions to relationship challenges and wondering if there is a mismatch of expectations.

As a therapist and counsellor, I provide a supportive space where you can reflect openly on your feelings and experiences without judgement. Together, we look at the ways you relate to others, explore behaviours that may be causing tension, and develop practical strategies to communicate more effectively and set healthy boundaries.
