How I Work
Hi, I鈥檓 Karin, an integrative therapist specialising in anxiety. I work with people who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or constant pressure 鈥 even when life looks 鈥渇ine鈥 on the outside.
Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and practical. We鈥檒l make sense of what鈥檚 driving your anxiety, understand the patterns keeping it going, and work towards changes that genuinely fit your life 鈥 not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Clients often say they feel relieved to understand why they feel the way they do, and more confident in how to respond when anxiety shows up. I'm mindful that therapy feels daunting, so I work at a pace that feels steady, contained and respectful of where you are.
I don't believe in quick fixes or being told what to do. Instead, I work alongside you to help you develop greater clarity, choice, and self-trust.

My approach is integrative and tailored to your needs, preferences and goals. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based and nervous system approaches, EFT (tapping) and the Rewind Technique. the 鈥渞ight words鈥 鈥 just a willingness to start.
My first session
Over our first two sessions, we鈥檒l explore what's been bringing you to therapy and what you'd like support with, building on what you shared during the initial call and questionnaire.
I鈥檒l offer my initial thoughts on how we might work together and what the next few sessions could focus on.
At the end of the session, we鈥檒l reflect on how it's felt for you, and you鈥檒l have the opportunity to ask any questions before deciding whether you'd like to continue. There's no pressure to commit before you feel ready.

I offer clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainees seeking a supportive and reflective space, to explore their practice.
I also offer supervision to other professionals interested in a therapeutic lens to support employees or teams.
Supervision is available either one to one or in groups.
My approach to supervision is to help you grow professionally and personally. Whether its setting up your private practice, sourcing quality CPD, finding work, navigating the NHS workplace , resources, dilemmas or skills practice.- all is welcome in supervision.
