Availability
I offer a limited number of online appointments to ensure each client receives focused, consistent support.
Sessions are available Monday to Friday, with morning, daytime and evening appointments between 10am and 9pm.
Due to the depth and continuity of my work, availability can be restricted at times. If I am fully booked, you are welcome to enquire about upcoming spaces or joining a waiting list.
I work best with clients who are able to engage in therapy with a level of consistency, as this allows for meaningful and lasting change.
All enquiries are responded to during working hours.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner, specialising in working with women who are often highly capable, responsible and self-reliant, yet feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in repeating relationship patterns.
Many of the clients I work with have already done a significant amount of thinking, reading or self-reflection. They understand their patterns intellectually, but still find themselves experiencing the same emotional responses, the same relationship dynamics, or the same internal struggles.
My approach integrates relational psychotherapy with EMDR Therapy. Talking therapy helps you make sense of your experiences and patterns. EMDR Therapy works more directly with the nervous system, where trauma and chronic stress are held in the body, often impacting both emotional well-being and the immune system.
This allows us to move beyond understanding into deeper emotional processing and change.
I work in a steady, attuned and thoughtful way. I will not rush your process, but I will gently challenge where needed. Therapy is collaborative, but it is also guided by clinical experience, ongoing professional development, and regular supervision.
This way of working tends to suit clients who are ready to look beneath the surface, rather than seeking quick fixes or short-term solutions.
I am an accredited member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework.
Practice description
My online practice offers a calm, private space for in-depth therapeutic work, where you can begin to understand not just what is happening, but why it keeps happening.
Clients often come to me feeling as though they have been holding everything together for a long time. From the outside, life may appear stable or even successful, but internally there may be anxiety, emotional disconnection, relationship dissatisfaction, or a quiet sense that something isn’t quite right.
Rather than focusing only on coping strategies, we look at the underlying patterns shaping your experience. This includes early relational experiences, current dynamics, and how your mind and body respond to stress and emotional triggers.
Where appropriate, EMDR therapy is integrated to support the processing of unresolved or distressing experiences. I'll guide you through the entire process, showing you how past unprocessed memories can remain stored in a way that continues to trigger emotional responses in the present. Therapy supports your brain in processing these experiences so they no longer carry the same intensity.
Sessions are tailored to your needs and typically last between 60 and 90 minutes. Some clients come for focused work around a specific issue, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper, sustained change.
This practice is particularly suited to clients who are seeking more than surface-level support, and who are open to a thoughtful, engaged therapeutic process.
My first session
The first session is an in-depth, structured assessment designed to develop a clear and meaningful understanding of your situation.
You will be guided through a comprehensive intake and case conceptualisation process . This explores your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, relevant life experiences, relationships, and any patterns that may be contributing to your current difficulties.
This allows us to begin with a clear direction, rather than working reactively from session to session.
There is also space for you to ask questions and to get a sense of how I work, including any questions you might need to ask about whether EMDR may be appropriate for you.
Some clients find that this session alone brings a level of clarity they have not experienced before.
There is no obligation to continue. However, this way of working tends to suit those who are ready to engage in a more in-depth therapeutic process, rather than occasional or ad-hoc sessions.
