About me and my therapy practice
I provide therapy in a safe and welcoming therapeutic space, wherein you can explore your concerns - at your own pace.
There are many reasons a person might decide to seek counselling, at any stage of their lives; each reason is valid and unique to the individual. There might be issues related to unresolved traumas in the past, or it might be that day-to-day pressures have become challenging and are affecting you. Whatever your reason is, it can be helpful to have a therapist who can work with you, to explore your concerns, offering you a deeper understanding of yourself, helping you move forward.
Asking for help is not ‘a sign of weakness’; it demonstrates strength, courage and respect for oneself.
As a qualified and registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø, I work integratively, with each individual clients’ needs at the forefront of the therapeutic work. I work in varying counselling environments, including working with children; bereavement and loss; alcohol and drug rehabilitation and private practice, where I support clients who are struggling with any and all sorts of life issues.
WHY SEEK COUNSELLING: I would like to acknowledge how the process of seeking help might be daunting for you, especially if you have not engaged in counselling previously, or if you have not yet found the right 'fit' with a counsellor. Embarking on this search might be a strange and scary adventure, and I would like to reassure you - any feelings of anxiety or confusion around choosing a counsellor/therapist, is natural. If you have any questions regarding counselling, how it works and how we might work together, please do get in touch.
Thank you for reading my profile.

About me and my therapy practice
About Me and How I Work:
Selecting a supervisor, who is right for you, can be as important as choosing the right pair of shoes; it helps if there is a comfortable ‘fit’ to establish a healthy, working relationship.
Before becoming a counsellor I worked in the corporate world as a senior medical representative and then a recruitment consultant; I have experience of working internationally too. I am an avid sportsperson who still competes at a very high level while juggling family life. I am passionate and truly fortunate to love my job; where I run a busy private counselling and supervision practice.
As a qualified and registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and NCPS (National Counsellors and Psychotherapists Society) I work integratively, with each individual supervisees clients’ needs at the forefront of the therapeutic work. I adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards, as set out by the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø and NCPS, which assures supervisees of a high standard of professionalism.
As a counsellor, I have worked in varying counselling settings such as EAP, Hospice and Private Practice, providing therapy for people experiencing concerns and challenges such as bereavement and loss; alcohol and drug therapy; LGBTQI+ and hetero-normative relationship issues; neurodivergence; anxiety; attachment; chronic illness; terminal illness and work-related stresses to name a few.
During the week, I run my online and face-to-face private practice from Tonbridge, where there is ample parking; a bus stop; and the location is nearby both the high street and mainline station. I offer daytime and evening counselling and supervision sessions and I would encourage you to contact me for more specific availability; according to your requirements.

I aim to provide a warm and welcoming, non-judgmental, collegial and therapeutic space in which you can explore your client work and where you can consider your personal development needs.
I use the Seven-Eyed Model to navigate the supervision process and believe in creating a trusting and equal relationship with supervisees to encourage openness to safely connect and reflect on the work you have been doing within the ethical boundaries of the governing body you operate under.
I use my Psychodynamic and Person-Centred core training to underpin the Integrative approach I have to working with supervisees while drawing upon my CPD training in Transactional Analysis and Relational modalities to inform the work.
Niche areas of experience and interest include:
- Bereavement
- LGBTQI+
- Neurodiversity
- Trauma
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I'd like to invite you to contact me for a free Zoom (or phone) call.
My first session
I offer a 30 minute free, no-obligation Zoom call, or phone call, to discuss your practice and your supervision needs. It's an opportunity for us both to consider if we can connect and discuss how we might work together.
At your first supervision session, we will look at the make up of your practice, and you will have the opportunity to provide a high level overview of your clients, providing context of the make-up of your practice while we find out more about how we both operate and get to know one another a little better and develop some foundations for the relationship we are aiming to establish.
