Availability
I currently have availability for new clients and welcome enquiries from both individuals and couples.
Recognising that life, work and family commitments can make accessing therapy difficult, I offer flexible appointment times throughout the week, including early mornings, daytime appointments, evenings and weekends.
I work seven days a week and regularly support clients across different time zones, both within the UK and internationally. This flexibility allows me to accommodate a wide range of schedules, including shift workers, professionals with demanding careers, students, parents, and clients living overseas.
Appointments are available face-to-face in Sale, South Manchester, as well as online and by telephone. I also offer outdoor therapy (walk-and-talk sessions) and, where appropriate, home visits.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a significant step. I aim to respond to enquiries promptly and offer a free 20-minute introductory consultation, giving you the opportunity to discuss your needs, ask questions and decide whether I am the right therapist for you.
If my diary is temporarily full, I will endeavour to offer the earliest available appointment or discuss alternative options with you.
Please contact me directly for current availability, as appointment times can change regularly.
About me and my therapy practice
I believe that most people seek therapy not because they are broken, but because they have been carrying something difficult for too long.
Over the years, I have supported people through trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, burnout, neurodiversity, identity questions, betrayal, life transitions and emotional overwhelm. While every person's story is unique, many arrive in therapy feeling exhausted from trying to cope alone.
My approach is warm, compassionate and deeply relational. I believe meaningful change begins when we feel genuinely understood and accepted, whilst also being supported to develop new insights, perspectives and ways of responding to life's challenges.
I work integratively, drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, attachment-informed practice, Expressive Arts and trauma theory. Rather than applying a fixed model, I tailor therapy to the individual, recognising that every person's experiences, strengths and needs are different.
I have a particular interest in the relationship between neurodivergence and mental health, helping autistic and ADHD clients better understand themselves and develop a more compassionate relationship with who they are.
Clients often tell me they value my calm, grounded and non-judgemental approach. I offer a professional, confidential and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, strengthen emotional resilience and move forward with greater clarity, confidence and self-understanding.
Practice description
Starting therapy can feel like a significant step, particularly if you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, emotional overwhelm or uncertainty about the future. My aim is to provide a warm, professional and supportive environment where you can explore your experiences openly and without judgement.
I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, attachment-informed practice, trauma theory and Expressive Arts. Alongside reflective therapeutic work, I offer psychoeducation and practical tools to help you better understand your emotions, relationships and coping patterns.
I work with adults, young people, couples and families experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, low self-esteem, neurodiversity, workplace stress and life transitions.
I have a particular interest in supporting autistic and ADHD clients, helping them better understand themselves and develop strategies that support emotional wellbeing and daily life.
For couples, I provide a balanced and structured space where both partners can feel heard whilst exploring communication, trust, emotional needs and relationship dynamics.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Sale, online, by telephone, outdoors through walk-and-talk therapy, and alongside Rudy, my Goldador therapy dog, through animal-assisted therapy.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute introductory consultation by telephone, video call or, where appropriate, in person. This provides an opportunity for us to discuss what has brought you to therapy, explore what you are hoping to gain from the process, and determine whether we feel like a good fit to work together.
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, particularly if this is your first experience of counselling or psychotherapy. There is no expectation that you will share everything immediately, and you are welcome to proceed at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
If we decide to work together, our first full session will focus on gaining an understanding of your current situation, the difficulties you are experiencing, and any relevant personal history that may help us make sense of what is happening for you. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, discuss your goals for therapy and begin to build a therapeutic relationship.
Rather than relying on a standardised assessment alone, I take time to understand you as a whole person, including your experiences, strengths, relationships, values and the wider context of your life. This helps us develop a shared understanding of your needs and identify the most appropriate way forward.
Some clients arrive with a clear issue they would like to address, whilst others simply know that something does not feel right. Both are welcome. The first session is about creating a safe and collaborative starting point from which meaningful therapeutic work can begin.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Sale, online, by telephone, outdoors through walk-and-talk therapy, and in some circumstances through home visits.

About me and my therapy practice
### About Me and My Supervisory Practice
My approach to supervision is grounded in person-centred values and informed by over 14 years of therapeutic practice, alongside more than 25 years working within mental health, wellbeing and psychologically informed services.
I have extensive experience working with trauma, attachment difficulties, relationship challenges, neurodiversity, grief, identity development, emotional dysregulation and complex presentations. This enables me to support supervisees in thinking deeply about their client work whilst remaining attentive to ethics, risk, process and professional responsibility.
I work primarily from the Seven-Eyed Supervision Process Model, using it as a flexible framework to explore the client, therapeutic relationship, supervisee experience, and wider organisational and systemic influences. This helps supervisees develop a richer understanding of the relational and contextual factors shaping their work.
I view supervision as a collaborative, reflective and developmental process. My aim is to create a supervisory relationship where supervisees feel both supported and appropriately challenged, enabling them to strengthen clinical judgement, professional confidence and their authentic therapeutic voice.
I have a particular interest in supporting practitioners working with trauma, neurodiversity, attachment and emotionally complex presentations. Supervisees often describe my style as warm, thoughtful and containing. I provide a calm and psychologically informed space where complexity can be explored safely, uncertainty can be tolerated, and learning can emerge through reflection, curiosity and meaningful dialogue.
Practice description
I offer clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists working with adults, couples, and young people.
My supervisory practice is grounded in the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Ethical Framework and focuses on supporting safe, ethical, and reflective clinical work.. I aim to provide a professionally held and psychologically safe supervisory space in which supervisees can think clearly about their work, develop confidence, and strengthen their clinical judgement.
My approach to supervision is integrative, relational, and trauma-informed. Sessions offer space to explore client work in depth, alongside ethical decision-making, professional responsibilities, and the emotional impact of therapeutic practice. I support supervisees to work thoughtfully with issues such as risk, safeguarding, boundaries, and complexity, while remaining attentive to organisational and training requirements.
I place strong emphasis on the supervisory relationship, recognising the importance of clear contracting, role clarity, and appropriate use of power within supervision. We will collaboratively explore clinical material and relational processes, including transference and countertransference, supporting the development of reflective capacity and sound clinical thinking.
For trainee therapists I offer a supportive, structured, and containing space to develop competence, confidence, and professional identity. Being mindful of training requirements, placement expectations, and assessment processes, and I support trainees to integrate theory with practice, manage anxiety, and work safely and ethically.
For qualified and experienced practitioners, supervision provides space for deeper reflection, ethical consideration, and professional accountability. Where we can manage complexity, sustain effective practice, and attend to practitioner wellbeing and resilience.
My supervision is developmental and restorative, responsive to the supervisee’s experience, caseload, and professional context.
My first session
I offer a free initial supervision consultation, providing an opportunity for us to explore whether we feel like a good fit to work together.
During this meeting, we will discuss your current role, client group, professional context, supervision requirements and what you are hoping to gain from supervision. Whether you are a trainee therapist developing confidence and competence, or an experienced practitioner seeking reflective space and professional support, the first session is an opportunity for us to begin understanding your needs and how I may be able to support you.
I recognise that beginning supervision with a new supervisor can feel like a significant step. My aim is to create a welcoming, collaborative and psychologically safe space where you can discuss your work openly, ask questions and gain a sense of how I practise as a supervisor.
We will also discuss practical arrangements, professional requirements, confidentiality, safeguarding responsibilities, boundaries and the supervision agreement, ensuring that any ongoing supervisory relationship is clearly contracted and ethically grounded.
There is no expectation to prepare formal material for this meeting. You may simply wish to reflect on your current practice, areas of confidence, areas where you would welcome support, and what you hope supervision might offer you at this stage of your professional journey.
The consultation is designed to ensure that any supervisory relationship feels professionally appropriate, clearly defined and beneficial for both parties before we agree to work together.
