My practice is currently experiencing a high level of demand, and available appointments can fill quickly. While I do have limited availability for new clients, there may occasionally be a waiting period of one to two weeks before therapy sessions can commence.
I am committed to providing a high standard of care and ensuring that each client receives the time and attention they deserve. All enquiries are responded to promptly, and where a waiting list is in place, clients will be kept informed and provided with an estimated start date for their therapy sessions.
About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centred therapist, I draw upon a broad range of therapeutic approaches and extensive mental health knowledge to shape therapy to your unique circumstances.
My practice is integrative and informed by a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models. I believe that the most effective therapeutic outcomes are often achieved through combining approaches expertly allowing therapy to respond to the complexity of each person's experiences.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective, evidence-based therapy recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for the treatment of trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I work with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, and the lasting impact of distressing life events. I also have experience supporting individuals who have experienced psychosis and those living with voices. All EMDR sessions are delivered online using secure specialist software and in accordance with recognised best practice.
My therapeutic style is collaborative and outcome focused. I work alongside clients to help them develop greater insights into their lives. I also support clients in building emotional regulation and resilience, enabling them to overcome difficulties and move towards the life they wish to lead. Above all, I aim to provide a therapeutic relationship that is safe and containing, while empowering each client to achieve meaningful and lasting change.
Practice description
I am an experienced therapist, EMDR practitioner, couples therapist, and Clinical Supervisor. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and couples from a wide range of backgrounds, supporting them through life's challenges with warmth, compassion, and professional expertise.
My approach is founded on the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected. I strive to create a safe and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences openly and work towards meaningful and lasting change.
Alongside my work with individuals, I have a particular interest in relationship and marriage counselling. I am trained in the Gottman Method, a highly respected, research-based approach to strengthening relationships and improving communication between couples. I have also undertaken professional training in Islamic marriage and relationship work, based in the United States.
I work with couples from a wide range of cultural, faith, and personal backgrounds, supporting those who are married, preparing for marriage, or navigating relationship challenges. I have particular experience working with Muslim couples from diverse cultural backgrounds and various Islamic schools of thought, and I am able to sensitively integrate faith into the therapeutic process where this is important to the couple. My approach is respectful of the diversity that exists within Muslim communities while remaining inclusive and welcoming to clients of all faiths and none.
I am also an experienced Clinical Supervisor, supporting both qualified counsellors and trainee practitioners. My supervision work is grounded in the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision by Hawkins and Shohet, offering a reflective and supportive environment that encourages professional growth and ethical practice.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your relationship, or your professional development as a therapist, I am committed to providing a collaborative and respectful service.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Clinical Supervisor, person-centred therapist, EMDR practitioner, and couples therapist. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and couples from a wide range of backgrounds, giving me a breadth of clinical experience that informs and enriches my supervision practice.
My approach to supervision is founded on the belief that practitioners deserve a professional space where they feel heard, understood, respected, and appropriately challenged. I strive to create a safe, reflective, and non-judgemental environment in which supervisees can openly explore their client work, professional development, ethical considerations, and clinical decision-making.
Alongside my work as a supervisor, I have specialist experience in trauma, EMDR, relationship and marriage counselling, and working with diverse cultural and faith communities. I am trained in the Gottman Method, a highly respected, research-based approach to strengthening relationships and improving communication between couples. My clinical experience includes working with couples from a wide range of cultural, faith, and personal backgrounds, including Muslim couples from diverse cultural backgrounds and Islamic schools of thought. This experience enables me to support supervisees in developing culturally responsive and ethically informed practice when working with clients from diverse communities.

Practice description
I am an experienced Clinical Supervisor, supporting both qualified counsellors and trainee practitioners. My supervision work is grounded in the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision developed by Hawkins and Shohet, providing a reflective, collaborative, and supportive space that promotes professional development, clinical confidence, and ethical practice.
I currently offer supervision to fully qualified practitioners and trainee counsellors who are working with adult clients aged 18 and over. I am happy to discuss professional requirements and provide guidance regarding supervision arrangements and frequency; however, I work best with supervisees who are committed to a regular and ongoing supervisory relationship rather than seeking ad hoc or occasional support.
Safe and ethical practice is at the heart of my supervision philosophy. Regular supervision is essential for maintaining professional standards, safeguarding client wellbeing, and supporting effective clinical practice. As such, I ask supervisees to engage consistently with the supervision process and demonstrate the same commitment to ethical and responsible practice that I bring to my supervisory work.
