About me and my therapy practice
I am a Counsellor dedicated to supporting young people to thrive, whatever their life experiences. I am passionate about helping families flourish, strengthening attachment, and walking alongside individuals as they explore and embrace their authentic selves—emotionally, physically, psychologically, and sexually.
As a Barnardo’s Link Therapist, I am registered with Ofsted to work with young people affected by adoption. I am trained to support everyone within the Adoption Triangle—birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoptees—and I also work with those involved in fostering and special guardianship arrangements.
In my role as a Secondary School Counsellor, I have extensive experience supporting young people facing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges, including anxiety, depression, school refusal, friendship concerns, trauma, bereavement, loss, and family or relationship difficulties. I also have experience working with international students living in UK boarding settings.
I bring a fun, warm, empathic, and honest approach to my work, offering a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for exploration and growth.
If you have any questions about counselling or would like to discuss how I can support you, please feel free to call or email me. I’d be happy to help.
My first session
During our first session, we’ll go through the counselling contract together. I’ll send this to you in advance so you have time to look it over. Once we’ve discussed the contract, we’ll use the rest of the session to explore what has brought you to counselling and how you would like to use our time together.
I often find it helpful to talk about your support network, significant life experiences, and how the challenges you’re facing are affecting your day-to-day life.
By the end of our initial meeting, we can decide together whether I am the right counsellor for you.

Availability
As a Supervisor, I offer a reflective, safe, and relational space where you can receive support and guidance in your therapeutic work with adults, adolescents, and families.
I have been working with adults and young people since 2019 across school settings and private practice. I am also a fully qualified Adoption Support Counsellor with Ofsted registration. Through my work at Barnardo’s, I have the privilege of supporting young people and families connected to the Adoption Triangle—including birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoptees—as well as those involved in fostering and Special Guardianship arrangements.
My supervisory style is integrative, grounded in creating a warm, thoughtful, and honest therapeutic relationship. Emotional attunement and attachment history are central to my work, alongside careful attention to relational dynamics, parallel process, and your own internal experiences within therapeutic relationships. As an AFT Therapist, I also bring a strong interest in child brain development, particularly the impact of neglect, abuse, and relational rupture, and how these experiences may emerge within the counsellor–client dynamic.
I work with both qualified and trainee therapists, including counsellors, psychotherapists, and clinicians who draw on attachment-informed, trauma-aware, or developmental approaches. I welcome practitioners working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, as well as those from a range of professional backgrounds such as counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, social work, and other helping professions.
I offer individual supervision, and where appropriate, group supervision, either online via Zoom or in person depending on location and availability. Session frequency and length can be arranged flexibly to meet training, accreditation, or organisational requirements.
Please feel free to get in touch if you feel I may be the right fit for you.
