About me and my therapy practice

A warm welcome to my directory profile.

I’m Martin Ross, a person‑centred counsellor based in Northwich. I work with adults, children and teens who are living with grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and big life changes.

My style is warm, steady and down to earth. I offer a calm, non‑judgemental space where you can talk openly and at your own pace. We take time to understand your story, make sense of your feelings and experiences, and notice what might need to change or be supported.

People often come to see me when life feels heavy or confusing – after a bereavement, a painful childhood, a relationship breakdown, work or family pressures, or when they no longer feel like themselves. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, listen carefully and help you find your own way forward.

If you’d like to explore whether counselling with me might help, you’re welcome to contact me at martin@newhorizoncounselling.com or visit newhorizoncounselling.com.
