Availability
Thank you for visiting my profile.
I currently have availability for new clients, with flexible weekday appointments and some evening sessions. Sessions are offered online and in person in Llandudno.
I offer a complimentary 20-minute discovery call, allowing you to ask questions, discuss what you are looking for, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
If you are planning to access therapy through BUPA, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss the referral and booking process.
You are welcome to reach out when you feel ready, and I will respond as soon as possible.
About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel as though you are holding everything together on the outside, while internally feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected?
You may be used to coping, pushing through, and being there for others — yet something does not feel right. Past trauma, grief, or ongoing pressures can begin to take their toll, leaving you feeling anxious, low, numb, or stuck. At times, this may also show up as fatigue, tension, or disrupted sleep.
These responses are not a sign that something is wrong with you — they often reflect the impact of what you have been carrying for a long time. Therapy offers a space to slow things down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of your experience in a safe and supportive way.
I offer an integrative, trauma-informed approach, combining evidence-based therapies tailored to your individual needs. My work is grounded in creating a sense of safety, stability, and self-understanding.
With a background in oncology, palliative, and community nursing, alongside over ten years’ experience in bereavement care and counselling, I bring both clinical understanding and compassion to the work.
I may draw on:
• EMDR-informed approaches to support the processing of difficult experiences
• Compassion-Focused Therapy to address shame and develop self-kindness
• CBT-informed approaches to explore patterns in thoughts and behaviours
• EFT (tapping) and practical tools to support emotional regulation
• HeartMath and biofeedback to build awareness and resilience
• Neurofeedback to support nervous system stability
We will work collaboratively, focusing on what feels most helpful for you. Over time, therapy can support you to feel more balanced, more connected to yourself, and more able to respond to life with greater clarity and confidence.
I am a registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø and a BUPA recognised therapist. BUPA clients are welcome, and provider details are available on request.
Practice description
This is where we begin.
Together, we will gently explore what has been weighing on you and begin creating space for clarity, calm, and renewed energy. This is not about fixing you, but about helping you reconnect with your existing strengths and capacity for change.
Many people I work with feel stuck — impacted by trauma, loss, depression, or ongoing anxiety. The demands of daily life can leave you feeling disconnected or as though you are functioning on autopilot. Our work focuses on helping you reconnect with the present and respond to life with greater awareness, rather than reacting from familiar patterns.
You will begin to understand your emotional responses, develop self-compassion, and find new ways of relating to yourself with curiosity rather than judgment.
I offer a grounded and supportive space, working at your pace and in a way that feels manageable for you.
Whether you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply not yourself, you do not have to go through it alone.
I offer in-person sessions in Llandudno, alongside online therapy across the UK.
My first session
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a significant step, whether it is your first experience or you have worked with other therapists before.
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know each other and to explore what has brought you to therapy. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable.
I will ask some gentle questions to understand your current difficulties, your background, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I will also explain how I work and how this may support you.
This session is equally an opportunity for you to decide whether I feel like the right fit. A safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship is central to the work, and your sense of comfort is important.
We will also discuss practical aspects such as session structure, frequency, and next steps. There is no pressure to commit, and you are free to take time to reflect on your decision.
You are welcome to ask questions at any stage. The aim is for you to leave the session with a clearer understanding of your options and what feels right for you.
