About me and my therapy practice
You look like you're coping. But underneath, it feels heavy.
Perhaps you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed or stuck. You may be carrying more than anyone realises, while trying to keep everything going on the outside.
It can be hard to explain exactly what's wrong. You just know that something doesn't feel quite right.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experience and explore what may be contributing to how you feel today.
I am an integrative psychotherapist with over 17 years' experience supporting children, young people, adults and families. My background includes counselling, mental health support, education and private practice.
My approach is relational, drawing on attachment-informed, psychodynamic and trauma-informed thinking. I work collaboratively and tailor therapy to each person, moving at a pace that feels manageable.
I currently work with young people (16+), young adults (18–30) and parents, offering online therapy across the UK and limited in-person sessions in London.
Practice description
Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experience and explore what may be contributing to how you feel today.
Sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on your needs. I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy.
Together, we might explore what is happening for you now, as well as patterns, relationships and past experiences that feel difficult to understand or shift. At times, we may focus more on practical ways of coping or managing day-to-day challenges.
There is no expectation to arrive with everything figured out. We begin with what feels most important to you and build from there.
I work collaboratively, checking in regularly about how the therapy feels and whether it is meeting your needs.
My first session
I offer a free introductory call before we begin. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of whether I feel like the right fit for you.
In our first session, we will talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you would like support with. I may ask some gentle questions about your current situation, background and relevant experiences, but there is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable.
The first session is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for how I work. Together, we can begin to think about what you might need from therapy and whether we would like to continue working together.
You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. If something feels off, that's enough to begin.
