About me and my therapy practice
As an Integrative Counsellor and Coach (MÌÇÐĹÙÍø, NZAC) with over six years of experience working with clients in the UK and internationally, I believe that growth is a collaborative journey.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and belief in your capacity to process what life brings. I specialise in helping individuals navigate the complexities of stress, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, meeting you where you are at and towards where you're looking to land.
My practice is built on the belief that therapy should be as unique as the person seeking it. By blending various therapeutic modalities, including person-centered, neuro-somatic, NLP, EFT, DBT and short-term solution-focused approaches.
I offer a flexible, holistic process that adapts to your specific needs and preferences. Whether you are seeking to recover from lingering past distress, manage current challenges, or find greater clarity and well-being, we will work together to co-create a path forward that feels right for you.
I am not here to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you as we explore your internal and external environments with integrity and unconditional acceptance. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel empowered and comfortable enough to explore your patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors, identifying the resources already available to you while integrating new adaptations for a life that aligns with your true values.
Practice description
In my practice, I offer a supportive and reassuring environment where the therapeutic process is demystified.
Coming from a background where going to therapy wasn't normalised and only discovering the benefits in my 20's, I get that reaching out can feel like a significant step, so I prioritise making the experience as accessible and low-pressure as possible.
I believe having an initial non-committal consultation is important to get an understanding of what the experience or therapeutic could look like for you, based on what brings you to therapy.
I provide sessions online and via phone to clients globally, ensuring that support fits into your life rather than adding to its pressures. I would be happy to refer anyone, who I feel I wouldn't be able to work alongside, for whatever reason, onto trusted peers I've trained alongside who would work in a similar integrative approach and possibly be a good fit availability and/or needs wise.
When we work together, you can expect a process that balances professional expertise with personal attunement. Our sessions are a space for exploration, where we lean into your experiences to understand what's needed in the moment-to-moment process.
I am committed to the highest ethical standards, guided by the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø and NZAC codes of ethics. This means our work is always rooted in respect, confidentiality, and a commitment to your safety. My practice is inclusive of all and welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds and ages, providing a steady anchor as you navigate the flowing river of healing, change and growth.
My first session
When you’re unsure where to start but have a sense of what you need, integrative counselling and coaching offer a flexible, tailored process that adapts to your unique journey.
Together in our first session, we would explore:
- Where you are now and where you’d like to be,
- Patterns of thought or behaviour that may be holding you back,
- The ‘cause and effect’ from situations experienced in life,
- What’s working well and what needs working towards,
- The dynamics of your internal and external environments.
These maybe explored over the first few sessions, but we would always work at a pace that feels beneficial and helps identify the mind, body and heart relationship patterns.
