About me and my therapy practice

I tend to work with thoughtful, self-aware women who are open to reflection and curiosity about themselves, even if part of them feels unsure or stuck.

You might be someone who holds a lot together on the outside — but inside, it doesn’t feel how you think it should.

You might be managing day-to-day life — working, caring for others, showing up — while internally feeling anxious, low in mood, burnt out, or disconnected from yourself. There can be a sense of feeling lost, unsure who you are, or struggling with low self-worth, even if others see you as capable.

You may find yourself stuck in patterns like people-pleasing, overthinking, or being hard on yourself, and starting to question how sustainable that is.

Some women come to therapy during periods of burnout or life transitions, such as becoming a parent, rethinking their career, or navigating a shift in identity. Others are affected by hormonal challenges such as PMDD or perimenopause, where emotions can feel more intense or harder to make sense of.

For some, there is recognised trauma that continues to impact how they feel about themselves or relate to others. For others, it’s a sense of being shaped by past experiences or long-standing patterns, even if they wouldn’t describe it as trauma.

Together, we can gently explore what’s getting in the way — whether that’s past experiences, difficult relationships, or internalised beliefs — and begin reconnecting you with a steadier, more grounded sense of yourself.

I trained as a counsellor after experiencing how powerful therapy can be when you feel truly heard, seen, and accepted.

My pronouns are she/her.

I work with individuals aged 16 and above, offering sessions face-to-face in Stony Stratford (Milton Keynes), as well as via phone, video or email — whichever feels most comfortable for you. I offer both daytime and evening appointments to help counselling fit into your life.

Practice description

I offer a relational, trauma-informed approach and integrate somatic therapy.

This means we don’t just talk about what’s happening or happened — we also pay attention to how your experiences are felt in your body.

Together, we’ll explore the underlying patterns shaping how you feel, including past experiences or trauma where relevant, helping you to feel more grounded, connected to yourself, and better able to understand your needs. There is often a shift away from self-criticism towards greater self-understanding and compassion. You may feel more able to set boundaries, make decisions with more clarity, and respond to your needs rather than override them.
