About me and my therapy practice
How I Work
- I work under the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø ethical guidelines.
- My approach is to create an environment that feels safe and holding.
- I practice inclusion, working humanistically and relationally, meaning that you and I work together in the here and now. Focusing on what you are bringing and acknowledge all parts of you.
- I will listen attentively and empathically and offer reflection when needed.
- I work dialogically and experientially, incorporating some creativity to support the counselling process and enable clients to raise their awareness. This has come from an understanding that when talking can become challenging at times, I can provide a space to support other ways to find expression in these moments.
Who I Work With
- Adults 18+ from a wide range of backgrounds, presenting issues which prevent living to their full potential.
Types of Therapy
- Gestalt, Humanistic
How I Deliver Therapy
- Face-to-Face

- £40.00 concession per 50-minute therapy session face-to-face only at my therapy space in EC4R 1BB (Concession rates will be offered from October 1st 2026 for any clients who are willing to be audio recorded as part of my ongoing training at The Gestalt Centre for my MA in Gestalt psychotherapy. If you are interested, and this is something you would like to consider, I would be more than happy to discuss further).

Practice description
About Counselling and Me
I have been a counsellor in a further education institution, in an LGBT+ charity, for the national charity Mind, the NHS, a low-cost scheme offering 1:1 counselling, supported a social enterprise organisation offering counselling for service users and freelanced for a psychology service BGPS as an Associate Counsellor offering 1:1 counselling and Group Reflective Practice for staff and clients who have experienced homelessness. I have provided Counselling for LBTQ and LGBTQ+ POC & BIPOC Groups online. I currently run my private practice online and provide counselling for IPRS Health.
I am a Buddhist, and this, I feel, connects to my values and humanistic approach rooted within Gestalt Counselling. I believe everyone has the potential to change, to become their authentic self, if they choose to; this is at the heart of my counselling.
I am a registered, accredited member (MÌÇÐĹÙÍø Accred), of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Profession. I am a member of UKAGP (The UK Association for Gestalt Practitioners). I have a PGDip in Gestalt Therapy, a Diploma in Gestalt Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Humanistic Counselling Skills, a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Mediation and a BA Honours in Drama, Film and Television, and I am currently undertaking an MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy.

What Happens Next
If you feel, after reading this information, you would like to make contact, you can email or telephone (email is usually best)
I will arrange an initial meeting with you; this is ‘an assessment’, to get a clearer view of who you are and why you want to come to counselling. I will make this as relaxed as possible, with a few formal questions combined with an informal discussion. It will help you to gain an understanding of how I work too. Here are a few things which may be covered:
Clarity of what counselling is (if you have never attended counselling before)
- An understanding of why you are coming to counselling at this time
- Your brief history
- Your online safety
- Confidentiality
- How I work
You will also have a chance to speak freely in your own words, ask questions and see if you feel comfortable working with me. After this, if we both feel we can work together, a time, day and date can be arranged to continue your counselling sessions, and I will let you know what happens next. The Assessment session is £70.00 and lasts for 50 minutes; there is no obligation to continue with counselling after the assessment session if you do not feel to.
