Hello and welcome to my profile.
I am registered counsellor based in Hastings. I offer a welcoming, inclusive space where I work with individuals either online or in-person. I have a range of experience across private practice and the voluntary sector. Sessions offer you the opportunity to talk about yourself and your experiences, helping you make sense of what you are going through.
I practice from a private counselling room in Hastings town centre, which is easily accessible by public transport and other travel options.
About me and my therapy practice
I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, autism and ADHD. I offer a confidential, safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. This can help develop greater self-awareness and create space for meaningful change. My aim is to build a therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard, understood, and supported. There may be times when you feel stuck or notice recurring patterns that seem to hold you back. Together, we can explore these challenges, enabling you to gain new insights and develop effective coping strategies.
Practice description
Individual Counselling
I offer 50-minute sessions for individuals, usually on a weekly basis. Sessions are guided by your needs. The initial assessment session gives us an opportunity to meet and get a sense of working together. During this session we can explore your reasons for seeking counselling and decide what may be most appropriate moving forward. You are welcome to ask any questions.
Couple Counselling
Many couples seek therapy following a breakdown in communication, ongoing misunderstandings or unresolved conflict that has become a source of tension.
I offer 60 or 90 minute sessions where couples can identify difficulties within a relationship and the goals they would like to work toward. One of my aims is to provide an empathetic and confidential environment where each individual has equal opportunity to be heard.
I recognise challenges relationships can face, together we work towards greater understanding and improved communication.
My Practice
I am a registered counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø) and an accredited counsellor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapists Society (NCPS). I uphold the ethical frameworks of my professional membership organisations. I attend regular supervision with a UKCP registered Psychotherapist and am currently working toward UKCP registration. I am fully insured.
