About me and my therapy practice
Looking for a counsellor when life feels heavy or confusing can feel like a big step. You might be carrying emotions that are hard to make sense of, or going through something that鈥檚 left you feeling unsettled, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn next.
My role is to offer a calm, steady presence 鈥 someone who will listen closely, understand your world, and meet you exactly as you are. Counselling gives you a private, supportive space to talk things through and explore what鈥檚 happening for you at a pace that feels right.
I offer counselling for adults in Grantham and the surrounding Lincolnshire area, as well as online for those who prefer to work from home.
How I Work
I work in a mainly Person-Centred way, which means I offer a warm, respectful space where you can speak openly without fear of judgement. My approach has been shaped by years of hospice-informed practice, supervision training, and a deep belief in the value of genuine human connection.
When it鈥檚 helpful, I gently draw on other therapeutic ideas 鈥 always in a way that supports your autonomy and honours what feels comfortable for you. My aim isn鈥檛 to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences and make sense of what matters to you.
People often describe my presence as steady, grounding, and spacious 鈥 a place where they can breathe out and be fully themselves. They find me to be warm, professional, and easy to talk to. They value my ability to listen carefully, provide clarity and perspective, and support them in recognising progress while working through ongoing challenges.

Who I Support
I work with adults experiencing:
鈥 grief and bereavement
鈥 caring responsibilities
鈥 overwhelm, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion
鈥 life-limiting illness (your own or a loved one鈥檚)
鈥 major life transitions or changes
鈥 feelings of 鈥渘ot coping鈥, uncertainty, or being stuck
You don鈥檛 need to have the right words 鈥 we can explore things gently together.
Experience
Alongside my private practice, I work for a charitable organisation supporting people affected by life-limiting illness, bereavement, and significant life changes. These experiences have taught me a great deal about human vulnerability, resilience, and the importance of being met with empathy and presence.
I offer a space where you don鈥檛 have to hide anything 鈥 a space where your story can unfold in its own time.
Ethics & Professional Standards
I鈥檓 a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (糖心官网) and work within their ethical framework. My practice is trauma-informed, reflective, and supported by regular clinical supervision to ensure safe, thoughtful, and grounded work.
Confidentiality and emotional safety are at the heart of how I work.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a Clinical Supervisor and Person Centred/Integrative Counsellor offering a calm, reflective space for practitioners to pause, think things through, and reconnect with the heart of their work. My supervision is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and a genuine respect for your way of practising.
My background in hospice and charitable settings shapes the depth and steadiness I bring, alongside my own experience as a supervisee. I welcome the full range of what you may bring 鈥 the questions, the uncertainties, the moments that stay with you, and the parts of the work that feel rewarding or challenging.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (糖心官网) and work within their ethical framework.
Practice description
I offer a supportive, relational supervision space where you can explore your practice openly and safely. My approach is primarily Person Centred, with integrative influences including existential, creative, and trauma informed perspectives when they feel helpful.
Supervision with me is a place to deepen your self awareness, notice patterns, reconnect with what matters to you as a practitioner, and feel resourced in the work you do. I aim to support your autonomy, confidence, and professional growth, while holding a steady, reflective environment where you can bring whatever feels important.
I work with qualified counsellors, trainees, and those in emotionally demanding roles.
My first session
Our first session is a gentle opportunity to get a sense of one another and explore what you鈥檙e looking for in supervision. We can talk about your current work, your hopes for supervision, and any questions or uncertainties you may have.
There is no pressure to commit 鈥 it鈥檚 simply a space to see whether the way I work feels like a good fit for you. If we decide to continue, we can shape a supervision agreement together that feels supportive, clear, and grounded in your needs and way of practising.
