About me and my therapy practice

About My Practice

I am a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist working with individuals and couples experiencing challenges with intimacy and relationships.

Individual Work

On a one-to-one basis, we work together to address sexual concerns that are psychological rather than physiological in origin. These include vaginismus, erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation, low or absent libido, anorgasmia, painful sex, performance anxiety, sexual trauma, and compulsive sexual behaviour, including problematic pornography use.

Couples Work

Around 50% of my clients are couples or relationships seeking support during times of crisis, as well as through periods of relationship change — including life transitions, ageing, illness, conflict, infidelity, mismatched desire, and blended families.

Relationship Diversity

I welcome and celebrate relationship diversity, and I'm committed to providing an inclusive, non-judgemental space for all relationship structures and identities. This includes working with:

Cross-cultural and interfaith couples navigating differing backgrounds, family expectations, communication styles, and values around intimacy and commitment

 * LGBTQ+ individuals and couples

 * Non-monogamous, polyamorous, and open relationships

 * Neurodiverse couples and individuals

 * Couples with significant age gaps

 * Long-distance relationships

 * Blended and step-families

Whether you're a couple navigating particularly passionate and intense dynamics, or working to rekindle intimate connection after a life transition, I bring cultural sensitivity and curiosity to every relationship I work with — recognising that intimacy, desire, and connection are shaped differently depending on each person's background, upbringing, and lived experience.

Practice description

How I Work

Clients register with me through my practice portal, where you can manage your own appointments at a time that suits you. There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions — some clients find short-term, focused work meets their needs, while others prefer a longer-term therapeutic relationship. You remain in charge of the pace and direction of your therapy throughout. I offer in-person sessions, online sessions, or a mixture of both, depending on what works best for you.

My first session

The First Session

Our first session is an opportunity to begin building a clearer picture of what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to change. Many people arrive feeling unsure about where to start — there's no expectation to share everything at once. We'll go at a pace that feels manageable for you.

I aim to make this first meeting feel as calm and grounded as possible. As a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist (PRT), I'll often invite you to consider your current difficulties through a biopsychosocial lens — building a picture of what's going on by considering your physical, mental, and relational health, before turning our attention to the specific issues that feel most relevant to you.
