About me and my therapy practice
Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of fulfilment—but also of our deepest emotional pain. Trauma, difficult life experiences and relationship challenges can affect how we see ourselves, connect with others and navigate the world. Whether you are seeking therapy as an individual or as a couple, I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported to create meaningful, lasting change.
I am a UK-trained Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with several years of experience working within the NHS, as well as in private practice. My work in the NHS has given me extensive experience supporting adults from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I draw on Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailoring my approach to meet your individual needs and circumstances.
My specialist areas are trauma and relationships. I believe that our past experiences, particularly those rooted in childhood, attachment or trauma, can continue to influence our emotions, relationships and sense of self. Together, we can explore these patterns, process difficult experiences, improve self-awareness and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
I work with individuals and couples from diverse cultural backgrounds, bringing sensitivity to each person’s unique experiences, family dynamics and relationships. Whether you are looking to heal from trauma, strengthen your relationships or gain a deeper understanding of yourself, my aim is to provide a safe, collaborative and supportive space where lasting emotional growth and change can take place.
