About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome!

If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself, you may already be carrying more than you realise. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns, whether that is anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity questions, addiction, or a quiet but persistent sense of not quite knowing who they are anymore.

During our work together, my focus is on creating a space that feels steady, confidential and safe, somewhere you do not need to perform, explain yourself perfectly or have everything figured out. Sessions are reflective and collaborative. We pay attention to what is happening beneath the surface, your emotional responses, relational patterns and inner dialogue, gently making sense of them together.

My approach is relational and person-centred. I believe meaningful change takes place within a therapeutic relationship that feels non-judgmental, containing and grounded. Within that space, there is room to deepen your self-understanding, strengthen your internal voice, and create change that feels sustainable and empowering.

Life transitions, shifts in identity, endings, parenthood, relationship changes, career transitions or emotional changes, including those linked to hormonal shifts, can all have a profound impact. Therapy offers space to slow down, take a breath and understand these experiences rather than simply pushing through them.

Alongside my private practice, I have worked across international and independent schools, EAP services, NHS-linked and the charity sector, supporting people experiencing anxiety, work-related stress, relationship difficulties, depression, addiction and many of life’s emotional challenges. This breadth of experience informs my practice while keeping the focus firmly on your individual story.

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. I welcome an initial conversation so you can get a sense of whether working together feels right fit for you.

About me and my therapy practice

Welcome.

Whether you are a trainee counsellor finding your feet or a qualified practitioner looking for a reflective space, I offer supervision that is collaborative, supportive and grounded in genuine curiosity. My aim is to create an environment where you feel safe to explore your client work, professional development and the impact that the work can have on you personally.

My core approach is person-centred, with the supervisory relationship at the heart of the process. Alongside this foundation, I draw on a range of supervisory models and perspectives where they best meet the needs of you, your clients and your stage of professional development. I believe supervision should be both supportive and appropriately challenging, encouraging reflection, confidence and ethical practice.

Alongside my private practice, I have worked as a clinical supervisor within private practice, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) services and charity-run settings, supporting both trainee and qualified counsellors. This breadth of experience enables me to understand the different demands of counselling across a variety of organisations and informs the way I support supervisees in developing their confidence, ethical practice and professional identity.

I welcome both trainee and qualified counsellors and understand the different challenges each stage of the journey can bring. For trainees, I offer reduced supervision fees throughout your training to help make high-quality supervision more accessible, while providing a consistent, encouraging and reflective space to develop your confidence, skills and professional identity.

I offer supervision online and in person and welcome an initial conversation so you can get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
