About me and my therapy practice
Individuals, Couples & Group Therapy
I work with thoughtful adults, couples, and groups who want to understand the patterns shaping their lives and relationships - and develop the capacity to respond differently.
Together, we slow things down so you can meet what is actually happening, rather than moving past it or explaining it away. From there, we work directly with how you relate - to yourself, to others, and to your inner experience - especially the patterns that once made sense but are no longer serving you.
My approach combines relational psychotherapy with a clear, structured focus on change. I take an active role in the process, helping you recognise where you lose yourself, where you over-adapt, or where disconnection takes hold - and supporting you to respond differently in real time.
In couples and group work, this includes working with what happens between people as it unfolds, bringing attention to patterns of communication, protection, and impact within the relational field.
The aim is not just insight, but lived change: the capacity to stay present - with yourself and with others - and make choices that are more aligned with how you want to live and relate.
My work is informed by a range of therapeutic approaches, including Psychosynthesis, contemplative process work, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT), but is always guided by what is most helpful in the moment.
Practice description
My work is grounded in both presence and structure.
Sessions are conversational, but not just talk. We stay close to your lived experience - what is happening in your body, your thoughts, your emotions, and, where relevant, in the moment between you and others - so that patterns can be recognised as they are happening, not only understood in hindsight.
I take an active and engaged role in the process. I will support you in noticing where you move away from yourself, where you over-adapt, or where you get stuck in familiar ways of coping - and help you find alternative responses that are more aligned with who you are and how you want to live.
In couples and group work, this includes paying attention to how these patterns unfold between people in real time, and supporting greater awareness, responsibility, and choice within the relational field.
While my work is informed by a range of therapeutic approaches, it is not technique-led. What matters most is creating the conditions where you can stay present to your experience and begin to make different choices from that place.
Clients often experience this work as both grounding and transformative - not because we search for answers, but because something shifts in how they relate to themselves, others, and their lives.
My first session
The first point of contact is via email. From there, we can arrange a brief introductory call if that feels useful, or move directly to booking a first session.
If we decide to work together, I will ask you to complete a short intake form in advance. This allows us to use our time together with focus and clarity from the outset.
The first session is a full therapeutic session. We begin by exploring what is happening and what you would like to change, while also starting to identify the patterns shaping your experience.
I take an active and engaged role from the beginning. You can expect a focused, collaborative process, where we work directly with what is present and begin to move toward change early on.
For couples, this includes supporting both partners to be heard while also bringing attention to the patterns between you. For group work, there is a short application process following an introductory call.
The first session also gives you a sense of whether this way of working feels right for you.
