About me and my therapy practice

I support individuals and couples navigating the deeply personal and often complex journey of fertility, pregnancy, and early parenthood. Whether you’re trying to conceive, going through fertility treatments such as IVF, or making decisions around family planning, you don’t have to hold it all on your own.

I have specialist experience working with those affected by miscarriage, medical termination, and pregnancy, baby, or infant loss. These experiences can feel isolating, layered, and hard to put into words—together, we create a space where they can be explored gently, safely, and without judgment.

Alongside this, I offer support across the full perinatal period—from pre-conception through pregnancy, birth, and into postnatal life and the transition into parenthood. This can be a time of profound change, bringing both joy and challenge, and I’m here to help you make sense of whatever you’re feeling.

My approach is grounded in mental health expertise and shaped by a deep understanding of the emotional realities that can come with reproductive journeys. I work collaboratively and compassionately, meeting you where you are, and supporting you in a way that feels right for you.

You might come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, grieving, uncertain, or simply in need of a space that is yours.

My approach is flexible and shaped around your individual needs. Some people want space to talk and process their thoughts and feelings, while others are looking for more structure or understanding. We can work together in a way that feels useful and manageable for you. As such, I can offer regular weekly or fortnightly sessions and can also offer one-off sessions on a more flexible basis.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer supervision to practitioners from a range of roles, including counsellors, mental health/wellbeing/safeguarding practitioners, ISVA/IDVA caseworkers, with particular experience supporting those working in higher education and multi-agency settings. I provide a reflective, supportive space where you can think openly about your work, explore challenges, and feel contained in the demands of your role.

Practice description

I utilise a flexible, relational framework to facilitate exploration of client work, practitioner experience, and the wider systemic context.

My professional background spans over ten years across NHS, voluntary sector, and higher education settings, including managing a team of mental health advisors within a large university. I bring extensive experience of working in mental health and safeguarding roles, alongside a strong understanding of risk, complex decision-making, and the pressures of working within often stretched systems.

Alongside my broader work, my counselling specialism is within fertility, pregnancy, and baby loss, and welcome supervisees working in these areas or encountering this within their practice.
