About me and my therapy practice
My aim is that therapy offers you a non-judgemental, confidential and supportive place to explore whatever is on your mind. I have particular experience and interest in working with trauma, anxiety, stress, depression and relationships.
I am a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø accredited therapist and clinical supervisor, meaning my work meets the industry expectation for high standards of knowledge and experience. I am an Integrative Therapist which means I am trained to use a variety of approaches depending on what you need. I will use a range of methods and models to support you in the most helpful way.
If you are finding a situation tough, or have things on your mind that you want to explore further, please reach out. There is no problem too small. I aim to offer a safe, professional, warm environment where you feel accepted.

Supervisor - Moira

Availability
I have limited availability but offer priority to supervisees. I hold sessions in a private, professional office in Moira (99 Main Street) and online if your practice is predominantly online. I have a range of slots from 9am-9pm during the week.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and trauma trained therapist, having worked in the community sector and private practice for many years. I have worked to recruit, mentor and support student counsellors as a line manager/team lead in various organisations. I have in depth knowledge of ethical practice, clinical standards and client centred work. I ensure that you feel heard and trusted as a practitioner, enabling you to make your own decisions without judgement. I am reflective and supportive in working through ethical dilemmas and provide a compassionate, safe environment for you to bring your own 'stuff' and how transference/countertransference may be showing up. I am mindful to offer formative, normative and restorative elements to each supervision session. Please reach out to chat through what you need from supervision and how I might support you.
Practice description
I offer reflective, collaborative, trauma aware supervision grounded in the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Ethical Framework. My approach is integrative and relational, allowing you to explore client work in depth, strengthen your clinical judgement and maintain ethical, safe practice.
I aim to balance support and constructive, gentle challenge, helping you to deepen self awareness, develop confidence in your practice and work effectively with complexity, risk and diversity in presentation.
I offer sessions in person in Moira and online. I am trained to use creative methods in supervision if this suits your style of working. I am available to supervise both students and qualified counsellors or other professionals e.g social workers, pastoral workers, medical staff etc
My first session
In our first session I will give you some guidance on how to prepare for supervision and the types of questions I will ask. I also will support you to understand what supervision means to you and what you need from it. I will give you a copy of my supervision contract and talk through expectations and limitations of the space. I really look forward to hearing from you.
