About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of how to move forward. I offer a calm, grounded, and thoughtful approach to therapy, drawing on experience of supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds through relationship issues, stress, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, identity, anxiety, burnout and the challenges of living with long-term health conditions. My experience across varied settings has shaped an adaptable approach, allowing me to tailor therapy to each person’s individual needs and circumstances.
I work from the understanding that meaningful change happens within a relationship where you feel safe, heard, and able to be yourself. With over 10 years’ experience, I offer a compassionate and collaborative space where you can explore your experiences with honesty and curiosity. I believe therapy is a place to develop greater understanding of yourself, recognise patterns that may be influencing your life, and consider new possibilities. I will offer warmth alongside thoughtful challenge, helping you explore what feels important at a pace that respects your autonomy.
My approach is relational and explorative. I’ll listen carefully, share observations, and invite you to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and ways of relating to yourself and others. At times, I may offer a perspective that differs from your own, creating space for curiosity, insight, and greater understanding.
I offer counselling to both individuals as well as couples.
I am trained to master's level in psychotherapy and hold postgraduate diplomas in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (SFCBT), PTSD management, and Life Coaching. As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø), I work to high professional and ethical standards. I have experience of working across charity organisations, the NHS, private sector services, and higher education, including supporting both students, staff and academics at the University of Cambridge.
Practice description
I offer weekly one-to-one or couples counselling sessions for adults (18+), held online via secure video call. Sessions last 50 minutes.
As an integrative therapist, I don't follow a single rigid model. I draw on various modalities, including trauma informed, person-centred, psychodynamic, gestalt and humanistic approaches combining them in whatever way is most helpful for you. Some people want to explore the roots of how they feel; others want to focus on the here and now. We'll work out together what feels right.
I work with a wide range of difficulties including:
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression and low mood
- Trauma and PTSD
- Grief and loss
- Relationship and attachment difficulties
- Life transitions and change
- Self-esteem and identity
- Work-related stress and burnout
I am a registered acrredited member of ÌÇÐĹÙÍø and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework. Everything discussed in our sessions is confidential.
My first session
Our first session (50 minutes) is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to start sharing what's brought you to therapy. I'll ask about your background, what's been going on for you, and what you're hoping to get from our work together. You won't be expected to share more than you're comfortable with — we go at your pace.
I don't use formal assessments or questionnaires. The focus is simply on helping you feel at ease and beginning to understand what you need.
At the end of the first session, we'll talk about whether you'd like to continue and what ongoing sessions might look like. There's no pressure, it's as much about you deciding if I'm the right fit for you as it is anything else.
If you're ready to get started, please get in touch to book your first session. I'd love to hear from you.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified supervisor (with the BPS) and a passionate, dedicated psychotherapist with a strong foundation in counselling and a deep commitment to ethical, client-centred practice. I have a genuine interest in supporting the growth and development of fellow therapists through thoughtful, collaborative supervision.
My supervisory approach is grounded in empathy and mutual respect. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and reflective space where therapists feel empowered to explore their clinical work, develop their professional identity, and deepen their self-awareness. I value open dialogue and aim to nurture both confidence and curiosity in the therapeutic process.
I offer individual supervision to therapists at any stage of their career, whether they are in training or fully qualified. Supervision is available via zoom.
