About me and my therapy practice

You're capable, self aware but the pressure, anxiety, overwhelm is starting to feel heavy. Everyone relies on you so you have to keep going. You don't feel in crisis but you know something needs to change. You carry everyone's worries as well as your own. You're exhausted but there's no room for respite. You not alone and I can help.

I have been a qualified personal and group therapist for over 8 years . Supporting capable, self aware adults who keep going. They may not feel in crisis but they do feel the burden of being the one everyone depends on at work and at home. 

I help people who feel overloaded find peace, feel lighter, brighter and a lot clearer. 

Witnessing clients begin to understand themselves and learn new skills to navigate life in a more fulfilling way is a privilege and the reason I do my job.

I work flexibly and adjust session plans to suit my clients needs and desired outcomes. 

In my free time I love to travel with my two incredible daughters, I train regularly and enjoy the Hyrox hype, I love being outdoors with my three dogs, I'm passionate about self empowerment and enjoy long walks with friends.


Practice description

Finding the right therapist is a fundamental part of the counselling process. Feeling comfortable and connected is key to your overall experience and outcome. 

The best way to discover if we are a good fit for each other is to meet, either by telephone, video call or in person. That's why I offer the free introductory call. It's an opportunity for us to talk.   I'll explain the way I work and you can ask any questions you might have, we can talk through your hopes and expectations of our time together and we'll both get a feel for how the sessions will be. 

I work flexibly and adjust session plans to suit your needs and desired outcomes. 

There is no pressure to take it any further, I always recommend  speaking to a few therapists first, you'll know when it feels right, and I urge you to trust that feeling.

I offer you a calm space, in a relaxed rural setting,  A safe space where you can untangle your thoughts and reconnect with yourself. Where you can be real and honest about the thoughts and emotions that you're experiencing so together we can take steps towards change. Change doesn't have to be dramatic, it doesn't mean a complete overhaul of your life, it's just looking at new ways of managing the demands you face so you can move forward in a positive way.


My first session

I offer a free introductory call before booking your first session. It's relaxed and straightforward. It's 20 minutes and gives us a chance to meet each other either in person, via telephone or video call. 

You don't need to prepare anything.  I will run through the counselling process, how sessions work, how to book, availability and frequency of sessions, confidentiality,  payments and cancellations. You can ask any questions you may have.

There's no pressure to book. I always suggest giving yourself some time after the call to process the information before deciding on your next steps.

I offer a variety of sessions plans and block bookings:

Wellbeing Check-In (existing clients only) 30 mins - £45

Personal Therapy - 50 mins - £65

Walking Therapy  - 50 min - £75 

Goal Focused Session - 90 mins - £120
