About me and my therapy practice
When we don鈥檛 have the words, therapy can begin somewhere else. Not everything that shapes us can be neatly explained. Emotions can appear before we understand them and past experiences can linger in the body. Sometimes we know change is needed, but words alone aren鈥檛 enough.
I combine counselling with Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, offering the opportunity to explore yourself not only through conversation but also through experience and connection.
Horses respond to what lies beneath the surface. Their sensitivity to subtle shifts in emotion, energy and behaviour can reveal unnoticed patterns. Working alongside horses can help in understanding how you relate to yourself, others and the world around you. No experience with horses is required and no riding is involved. Sessions focus on grooming, leading, and caring for the horses who have been carefully selected for their therapeutic role.
I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, carrying the weight of past experiences or simply aware that life could feel different. Therapy with me is not about 鈥渇ixing鈥 you鈥攊t is about creating the conditions for insight, choice, and meaningful change.
Whether we meet in the counselling room, online, over the telephone, walking in nature, or standing quietly alongside the horses, my role is to help you notice what matters, make sense of what feels confusing and uncover enduring strengths.
I provide a safe, caring, and non-judgmental environment, tailoring every session to your needs to support your personal growth and wellbeing.
Session Options/Fees
Remote, indoor and outdoor therapy: 拢55 per 50 minutes
Equine-Assisted Therapy: 拢45 per 30 minutes
Equine sessions are unavailable in December, January, and February to allow the horses a break
I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation to answer your questions and help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.
Get in touch if you鈥檇 like to know more, book a consultation, or schedule a session.
