Practice description

" We don't have to do it alone. We were never meant to." ( Brene Brown)

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and challenging and we can become stuck in patterns of behaviour that may have worked in the past, but are now not helpful to us moving forward in life. The important bit is that you're not alone! Therapy can offer a different perspective on our lives , it can help us  make sense of what is happening to us  in the present - right here and now.

I offer a safe, confidential, non judgmental space set in a warm friendly environment. Being able to talk and explore our feelings and life events can help us to identify why we may be feeling unhappy, troubled or stuck. By building a therapeutic relationship together we can have a think about how you are interacting and relating to others and make links to see how your past maybe impacting your present and future. Being stuck in what seems to be  a self fulfilling prophecy does not need to be your "forever". Does this sound familiar? The first step is often not as frightening or overwhelming as we may believe it to be.

I incorporate varied therapy models in my work  such as psychodynamic, person centred and humanistic approaches  into our sessions. I am a Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

My pronouns are She/Her.

My first session

The first step to starting therapy is to contact me by email. We can arrange an initial consultation to meet online.  Agreeing to an initial consultation does not mean you're obliged to have more sessions but we can at this point think about how we might work together and most importantly what your hopes are for therapy moving forward. Most importantly you can decide if you think we will be a good fit!  We will have a think about your current situation and how therapy could help you.

An Initial Consultation would last 60 minutes and be at the reduced rate of £45.
