About me and my therapy practice

Are you a new mother feeling disconnected from yourself, your body, or your sense of identity?

Perhaps your birth experience felt overwhelming, traumatic, or not as you had hoped. You might be navigating intrusive thoughts, anxiety, or a sense of not feeling safe or settled within yourself. With so much advice and expectation around you, it can be hard to hear your own voice.

You may recognise yourself in some of the following:

  • feeling disconnected from your body or unsure how to relate to it after birth
  • experiencing intrusive thoughts or anxiety
  • struggling to process a difficult or overwhelming birth experience
  • feeling lost in your identity since becoming a mother
  • finding it hard to tune into your own needs amongst others’ expectations

I specialise in supporting mothers through this complex and often unsupported transition. Together, we create a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to reconnect with yourself.

Everything you bring is welcome.

Since becoming a mother myself, I have a deep respect for the impact this time can have on your body, mind, and sense of self. I understand how much you may be holding, often without the support you need.

Whether you are 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years into motherhood, I offer a space where you can be heard and supported.

My approach combines talking therapy with body awareness (somatic work). This means we don’t just focus on your thoughts, but also on what is happening in your body.

About me and my therapy practice

Are you experiencing intrusive thoughts, overwhelm, or a sense of not feeling safe in your body during fertility, pregnancy, or early motherhood?

Perhaps you are struggling with fertility and feeling as though your body is against you.

Something about this time may feel difficult to make sense of- whether that’s your experience of pregnancy or birth, changes in your body, or the emotional impact of becoming a mother.

You may notice a disconnect between how you feel on the inside and how you’re expected to be on the outside.

I specialise in working with women during fertility, pregnancy and early motherhood, supporting nervous system awareness so they can feel more at ease and connected to themselves.

About me and my therapy practice

Are you a couple navigating the impact of parenthood on your relationship?

Conversations that once felt easy may now lead to tension or misunderstanding. Disagreements can escalate quickly, leaving you both feeling unheard.

Perhaps you are finding yourselves in conflict around sharing the load, a loss of intimacy, or differences in how you approach parenting. One of you may feel overwhelmed, while the other feels shut out or alone.

Parenthood reshapes a relationship. That doesn’t mean something is broken—it means something has changed.

I work with couples to navigate this transition, offering a space where you can both slow things down, feel heard, and begin to understand each other more deeply. Together, we can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and find ways to reconnect.

  • Are you a new mother struggling to connect with your intuition, sense of identity, or the challenges that come with motherhood?
  • Perhaps your birth experience was not as you had planned, was overwhelming or traumatic, or you are feeling voiceless amidst all the ‘advice’ around you.
  • Are you experiencing intrusive thoughts, anxiety or just not feeling safe in your body?
  • You may want to tend to your relationship with your body after going through so much, finding ways to reconnect with yourself and nurture self-compassion.
  • Or you’re a parent who feels you’ve lost connection with your partner since the arrival of your little one.

I work with mothers and couples to help navigate what can be both a beautiful yet very challenging phase of life, supporting you to feel connected to yourself and to each other.

I have a deep respect for mothers and parents.

Since becoming a mother myself and my own lived experience of its impact on body, mind and soul, I felt a calling to offer space for others to be supported during this profound rite of passage which is so lacking for so many.

Mothers often don’t receive the support they deserve when they are holding so much.

Whether you are a mother of 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years, I can offer you a space to be heard.

When working with couples, I honour the fact that you and your partner are the experts of your relationship and I’m here to provide a space where you can both be heard and understood.
