About me and my therapy practice
People come to therapy for many different reasons: anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply a feeling that something no longer feels quite right.
I offer a warm, supportive, and reflective space where we can explore whatever is bringing you to therapy at your own pace. My approach is relational and collaborative, grounded in the belief that feeling heard, understood, and accepted can create meaningful change.
Alongside my private practice, I have experience supporting young people in schools and facilitating workshops and support groups around topics such as grief and loss, self-esteem, and emotional wellbeing. Prior to retraining as a therapist, I worked in Human Resources within professional services firms in both the UK and abroad, which has given me insight into the emotional pressures that can arise within working life, identity, major life transitions, and the experience of living between cultures or adapting to life in a different country.
I offer sessions in English and Spanish and am also fluent in Italian.
Please feel free to contact me to arrange a free 15-minute phone or Zoom call to see whether working together feels right for you.
Practice description
I work in a relational and integrative way, adapting therapy to the needs, pace, and personality of each individual. Some people come to therapy with a clear issue they would like support with, while others may feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure where to begin.
Our sessions will offer space to slow down, reflect, and explore thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns that may feel difficult to navigate alone. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on present challenges and coping, or explore deeper emotional experiences and recurring patterns in a thoughtful and manageable way.
I aim to create an environment where clients feel able to speak openly without fear of judgement or pressure. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, particularly for people who are used to managing things alone or prioritising the needs of others.
I offer face-to-face, online, telephone, and walk-and-talk sessions.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know each other. There is no pressure to share everything immediately; we work at a pace that feels manageable and comfortable for you.
Before our first meeting, I will ask you to complete a brief questionnaire and therapy agreement covering practical details and confidentiality.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and can take place face-to-face, online, by telephone, or as walk-and-talk sessions.
