About me and my therapy practice
Greetings and a warm welcome
Some things pass on their own鈥攁 headache, a difficult day, a low mood.
But deeper struggles like anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or the impact of trauma tend to return, often in familiar and frustrating ways. Even when life seems to improve on the surface, the underlying patterns can remain.
You may have already tried to understand or change these patterns鈥攖hrough self-help, reflection, or sheer determination. And yet, something still feels stuck.
My work is about gently getting to the root of those patterns.
My approach is grounded in an understanding of the relationship between the mind, the body, and the unconscious. I believe that lasting change doesn鈥檛 come from willpower alone, but from developing a deeper awareness of what鈥檚 happening beneath the surface鈥攁nd working with it, rather than against it.
As a qualified integrative therapist, sex educator, and somatic yoga teacher, I offer a holistic, compassionate approach to healing and personal growth.
My professional path has brought together psychotherapy and body-based practices. Alongside my work as a therapist, I have spent many years teaching yoga, tantra, taoism and facilitating womens circle's, exploring the connection between emotional and physical experience. This shapes how I work: with attention not only to what you think, but also to what you feel and how those feelings are held in the body.
I have worked both within a sexual abuse charity, addiction recovery, mental health and in private practice, supporting people with a wide range of difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. My experience includes working in complex and trauma-focused settings, as well as offering support during times of acute stress.
Today, I work in private practice, offering a space where you can explore your experience at your own pace. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your individual story.
